There were SOOOOOOOO many great one liners in this episode!

The Winter Soldier did kill everyone he met up in till the Avengers for the most part.

I think he has something going, the book tells me he think that the only way of having things under control is with force, and his experience with Hydra tells me that he knows that the reason Hydra was able to stay that strong is because the Society and Governament was too "good" and Hydra could easily work his way to corruption Other than that i don't think he wants to harm those who let him out of prison and nor the Avengers, i think he somewhat learned his lesson and that his actions didn't really change things up as much as he tought despite the break between Cap and Iron man Therefore i think that once he's done with them he will escape and plan to take over something in his own way and not the "good" way that was filled with the corruption of Hydra

I find the complaints about Zemo in the show to be really strange considering that the major complaint about Civil War Zemo was that he was _nothing_ like the character in the comics, whereas the show Zemo is absolutely doing the classic Zemo long con of pretending to be a good guy as a cover for villainous deeds.

Zemo wiggling Bucky's chin made me trust him even less.

Yes. And I don‘t quite get why Marvel doesn‘t make an effort to hire people speaking proper German. It bothers me because they pay attention to so much detail yet don‘t cast German speaking actors. Batroc is French, too, for example. Also, I actually looked up Lemar‘s actor because I wanted to know why his German sounded so much better 😂 but according to Wikipedia, there is no connection between him and Germany. Anyway, he did a great job!

@@valeaves I don't know, but personally I don't really give a damn where actors are from or if they live according to their roles. They're supposed to act, not play themselves. At most, I'd rather they look like the character if they're based on one. Bad accents shouldn't determine who's hired. There are people from certain countries who can barely speak their mother tongue for various reasons and others who just learn the language, so it doesn't bother me. I get where people are coming from with that, but it's meh.

For that to happen, like I mentioned as an option, they'd have to "live according to their roles." Not every actor can catch it. And also like I said, there are people from certain countries who can barely speak their mother tongue. If you ask me, that's pretty realistic. It would sound more robotic if every character did it perfectly.

It’s one thing when they hire someone who sounds so gopnik their mother is ashamed of them; it’s another if a supposedly russian character sounds like some Johnny doing his best ‘hoho Rasputin kalashnikov blyat’ voice. Imagine if a supposedly western american sounded like he’s spent his whole life in Italy. It may sound good to italians, but when you know what’s up it sounds painfully cringey. It *is* actually possible to train someone without any knowledge of Russian to recite Pushkin perfectly with no accent; there are vocal coaches specifically meant to teach actors how to talk the talk, and not just in foreign accents but also things as specific as Chicagoan African American Dialect. And MARVEL has the money and the time to spend perfecting this aspect of a performance, they just often don’t bother to. Although in CA:TWS there are several points where actual native Russian voiceover is used for the trigger words, and that made me so happy to hear; and Sebastian Stan, a man who to my knowledge has no russian at all, managed to do a clear enough impression that I could actually understand him (even the relatively mild accent makes perfect sense as his character is originally American) his diction was mushy but intelligible, and as the character was under some duress at that point that’s excusable. They were willing to go to that length for one of the main characters; they have the budget to do the same for anyone else involved. When they don’t it’s more than a little disappointing.

I'm rooting for a huge reveal. I dont think Sharon is the power broker but he does know who it is. As much as Hydra was defeated, it wasnt completed destroyed. So, what if Sharon is a sleeper agent for Hydra. If you were to read alot on 'ower Broker is watching', then you could think he/she is watching everything everywhere. It could be a character we already seen...Arnim Zola. (The computer was destroyed in Civil war, mean the AI could have transfered beforehand). And this new Captain America gets outed as a member of Hydra. Although, I am liking Baron Zemo playing like a anti-hero sort of role.

I think Zemo just hates super powered beings who are lifted up as icons. He has no problem with Bucky because Bucky has always been seen as a threat and without orders, brainwashing or a good reason to use them, would rather not use his abilities. As for Sam, he's just a regular dude who can see the flaws in the system and knows that being an icon doesn't matter as much as getting the job done and taking responsibility for whatever happens. There's LITERALLY no reason for him to dislike them.
