Well think of it this way. When you learn to type, eventually they always cover up your fingers and make you learn blind. If they never did that, you'd probably never learn to do it without seeing your fingers. She needed someone to do the same thing, just make her practice blindfolded every day for weeks. It's sorta common for people not to ever learn left from right, it's so easy for most people that nobody ever bothers to teach them properly

Honestly…it’s sometimes a mild form of dyslexia or adhd. I often get directions confused when it’s React vs Think or if I’m stressed/panicked enough…and sometimes…my brain just goes bzzzt [error.] Anyway. I feel Jaiden’s pain. Especially that instinct to spam the other direction when putting in the Wrong One and hoping it fixes it somehow

It not unheard of for people with like autism/dyslexia/adhd/probably other mental disorders to have a hard time grasping which is left and right. It's also just not something you're graded on in school so I can see it just never getting brought up.

I couldn't remind until Mine until I was a senior in high school. And the only reason I figured it out then was because that's when I had my 1st job and I always wore a watch on my left hand so I've been able to associate Left with which one I was wearing the watch on i don't wear watching anymore but like i was eventually able to memorize it that way

That’s definitely one of those things where if you do know them, it’s completely impossible to understand how someone can not. Seriously, how can you not tell them apart? NSEW cardinal directions I get mixing up because they change based on direction, but left and right have been the same your whole life. How can you go your whole life not noticing which hand side your dominant hand is on? Because you know you’re either right or left handed, so which side is your good hand on?

@@mr.stuffdoer8483 It's not that we can't tell which hand is which. The problem is translating the words "right" and "left" to that. We never try to write with the wrong hand, the problem only arises when someone else tells us a chiral direction or asks for one. If you think about the process your body goes through processing directional language, it's not too surprising that left-right is what is the common problem. Up-down is based on gravity and the permanent placement of your eyes relative to the rest of your body. "Up" is a word associated with a very strongly defined set of sensations. For "left", though, you have to map that to the copy of your organs controlled by the right side of your brain, which are a mirror image copy of those on the right controlled by the left, and nobody has proprioception sense for their brain's chirality. So you are napping language to something that doesn't have an internal frame of reference, merely "these sensations are left".

Same, I only got to beat the game when I found out about the restore points in my 3ds virtual console copy, but nowadays the game became much easier for me because of how I hardened my skills.

I never liked the "righty tighty, lefty loosey" thing since I'm messing with a circle which doesn't have a right or left. I feel like I'm twisting to the right but it loosens and twisting to the left tightens and sometimes it feels the other way around. And it only gets worse when the cap/screw is facing away from you.
