Please read: I have so far watched #DoctorStrangeMultiverseOfMadness 3 times in the theater. Don't think I'll be able to sit through it more times, I have my details sorted (that I found) so my 0.25x breakdown is coming in the middle of this month. But before that, I'll post a video explaining Doctor Strange 2's ending and my honest thoughts on the film. Meanwhile, lemme know your thoughts on this video, let's talk! ;)

I noticed that when they get out of the bed there is a footprint on the sand where they didn't step. This could mean that Lockley killed Harrow before they woke up.

Jake was the personality that took the physical abuse from marc's mom. Marc created steven so he didnt have to deal with her abuse, and with steven unaware of her abusive side, steven created jake to be aware during the time of the actual physical abuse, and then be able to switch back to marc/steven after the abuse occurred, keeping it away from both personalities. Thus, jake is violent, jake isnt very talkative/interested in anything other than achieving his violent goals. It's literally the only world he's lived in, an abusive/violent one. Thus, he is the perfect avatar for konshu and would still have a deal with him. Jake craves/needs violence to regulate.

I don't think they're going for the "evil alter" trope with Jake. More like Jake is the one that suffered the physical abuse and that forged him into a brutal, but not evil, person. Perhaps he's more loyal to Konshu, easily manipulated, and hesitates less in the violent orders. I hope at the end the three (and others?) are at peace.

8:31 took me completely by surprised. Hearing the Canadian Lad swearing out of nowhere is always so funny to me because it's just so unexpected

This series had some of Oscar Isaac's finest acting. Changing the persona back and forth that quickly is no easy feat.

I wish season 2 begins with the unseen scenes of Jake Lockley in season 1 in Jake's point of view, as flashbacks, and then episode 1 should revolve around Jake's life and end with a subtle clue that Steven finds out about his existence. 🤞🏼

Maybe the reason Khonshu was able to cast a shadow whenever he was fighting Ammit was because at that moment he was visible to everyone, unlike before when only Knight could see Khonshu

I've been a fan of Moon Knight for close to 10+ years and was super excited to hear that this show was coming out and even more excited to see what details you could pick out of it. Was not dissapointed~

Unlike Loki and Wandvision, moonknight started from scratch essentially (i.e. no prior character development) think it was a really great intro to the character, Oscar Isaac and May Calamawy were stand outs

A thing I noticed which may be obvious but I haven't seen anyone mention, is that Steven has a baton, while Marc has a crescent, and together they make Khonshu's staff

Missed opportunity for Marc to tell Steven that he can't lose a brother again. And @7:56, that's a pivotal moment in the show. Of course we'll see it at regular speed

Finally someone points out Konshu choice of word during the scene with Steven, I instantly picked up on it the moment he said it

Lad: Mistakes like these tends to take away the authenticity of the story Us common people: Mistakes only the Canadian Lad ever will notice. Lad I don't know man, ur the only one who sees these kinds of tiny details. Hats off to u man.

I love how he refers to Taweret as 'hippo' rather than her name, hilarious. Also deeply appreciate this well detailed and well explained vid

I like the theory that Marc and Steven think they're back at the appartement, but they're inside the mind as Jake is conscious in the body. Always enjoy your breakdowns! Can't wait for you to break down Dr Strange MoM. Laters gaters

Also the most loved thing about this series according to me is it's theme 🔥. The Egyptian theme that played in the 2nd episode was literally the best theme out of all the Marvel series for me ❤️❤️

The fact that he can breakdown the entire marvel film and even non marvel film too but getting difficult to spell tawaret correctly is made my day

All I gotta say is, it'll be a huge waste if we don't get another season. There's just so much to dive into with Jake and Konshu's relationship.

I noticed when you explain about Jake being a skilled driver, it explains why Steven woke up with the truck driving in reverse too.

Layla was a perfect character and I agree, the CGI for her was absolutely brilliant

I loved moon knight episode 6 . The *Marc and Steven in the sand scene* was soo touching. Really loved the show . Scarlet Scarab reminds of falcon . She is nothing like him beacuse she is a ten times better than him for me . Plus we finally know about Jake Lockley and Khonshu's evilness over Marc's broken mind .

I really really love Layla's charecter and her being the Scarlet Scarab, the suit is so darn awesome and she looks so good in it🥵. I don't mind some male characters being change into female, but in in the other ones it felt so forced, but here it was executed perfectly and the charecter development was awesome, she is now my favourite female superhero. Although Marvel really does need to solve its gender bending issue, so many iconic charecter was turned into female, I have no problem with that but at least make them work like Layla's, I hated the Taskmaster gender-swap, instead of genderswapping male characters into female, why not introduce new female characters.

There was a plot hole mentioned somewhere that, why only Marc and Steven's hearts were judged when there's obviously another personality out there 🤔 and how could the heart become whole without the third part 🤔🤔 Could it be because they didn't open the third sarcophagus and let Jake out so it's just only two of them who are being judged 🤔🤔🤔

I love how TLC can pronounce the comic artist guy for moon knight's name perfectly, but when he tries pronouncing Taweret's name, he struggles XD

9:20 it remeber me of Daredevil fight

I love how Jake looks like a totally different person, and I don't mean the clothes. His facial expressions are totally different, way more than between Mark and Steven. Oscar Isac is a trully great actor. I can't imagine anyone else playing those roles better.

If you go back through the episodes, you never actually see Marc kill anyone, he feels too guilty about death, so he would only do it if Khonshu tells him they are murderers or pedophiles. So that would mean that in the first episode when Steven wakes up in the Alps Marc is completely unconscious and Jake is the one popping in to kill everyone.

you could actually hear the sound of the suit when mark came back again from the possession of Jake after all that chaos, felt like it came back to the original MK suit from another suit....It kind of indicates that there's a 3rd suit...I wonder if anybody else noticed that:)

2:55 The symbol isn't there because of harrow, its there because that is the tomb in which ammit lies who's whole thing is about balance, that was most likely a happy accident but it for sure wasn't there only because of harrow

Fun fact: the pen Dr. Harrow mentioned is a Lamy pen. When first bought, the pen still has a carton ring that you have to remove to active it. The show didn’t do this, so Dr. Harrow just has an unopened fountain pen laying on his desk.

9:43 I thought it would even better if the reflection shows Steven in Mr Knight suit , but then I think this shows that they don’t have to communicate through glasses, they are truly one at the moment

I realized that when moon knight uses his chest knife, he can spawn as many as he needs. It's not just one knife.

I don’t understand the complaints about the CGI in this show. I thought it was amazing, especially giant Konshu and Ammit. Layla as the Scarlet Scarab looked great too

I have a theory that the Harrow-Steven/Marc sequence(in the Phsyc Ward)is actually happening, just in another universe because as America Chavez mentioned in MoM that Dreams are a gateway to our multiversal lives and for some reason Marc and Steven can communicate with their Multiverse self.

15:29 so based on this bit i have this idea that Jake has been there since the start, it was Jake that was the first alter that was made when his brother died and jake was formed to save Mark and not only that, the reason Jake is considered Khonshu's first avatare is he was the first one to make a deal with Khonshu back in that cave to get them out. but Jake only comes out when the others need protecting (lets face it Harrow would have come after them at some point so this was Jake protecting them both in removing a threat and in making them think they let Harrow live)

This was one of the best Marvel shows i have ever seen..... The acting, the story, and introducing future characters in the best way ever... Jake Lockley was an amazing cameo!!!

Judging by the overall positive reception, no way they don't go for season 2 and I'm all in for it

15:24 Jake didn't seem to pull the trigger yet the VFX teams added the nuzzle effect nonetheless. To me it seems that probably the shot was intended to be offscreened at first. It just shows that everyone on the team goes above and beyond to make add things to deliver the message better. Without that we'd never seen how murder is like an everyday job to him.

After watching the episodes again, I realised that there are many references in the first episodes foreshadowing the story. For example, after Steven misses his date in the first episode, he sits next to a ‘’ man of stone’’ who aslo sits with his hand out, just like Steven en Marc turned out at the end.

The way that oscaar perfectly protrayed all three characters is amazing I gotta say he is one of the few actors in marvel to perfectly protray his character

The musical tracks Marvel selected for this series is just perfect. ✨ Both "In the End" and "A Man without Love" are gems. ✨✨✨

I'm hoping in season 2 like with Mark and Steven, Jake when he's in control of the suit it changes to correspond with his brutal personality. Also letting us have 3 distinguishable designs for the suit.

Small details make u love something even more and appreciate the effort made by anyone who craft the art, that is why we appreciate this guy it's all about being connected to the depth of someone's creativity and align with the passion they put in their work

The 2 fish in the tank is also a metaphor for the 2 consciousnesses in "unity" (consciously sharing the same body, or tank). So maybe, if they meet and find a way to co-exist with Jake, we'll get a scene with 3 fish in the tank

I always enjoy seeing your breakdowns of various shows and movies. You're so completely thorough and it's such a joy to see the little details I missed, such as Dr. Harrow's sandals. Also love how you're pointing out and showing appreciation for the other teams that play an immense part in the production, like pointing out the mirrors being covered by the VFX team. I think you did miss one VFX detail/mistake though. When Jake fires the pistol to kill Harrow, you can tell they did all of that in post. The muzzle flashes and smoke were okay, not the most realistic but still passable. But the slide never moved or showed any hints of movement. That wouldn't be so bad, but in a show where the audience is constantly questioning the voracity of what's happening and actively examining details to find out if what's being shown is real or imagined, it's a somewhat medium sized detail to overlook. Great work as always though. You entertain me with something I don't think I'd ever have the patience to do and I'll always appreciate the passion you put into this as long as your doing it.

0:35 episode 5 didn’t mention Jake, but he straight up appeared at the start of the episode. When Oscar Isaac has a band-aid-shaped bloodstain on his nose in “Harrow’s” office, that’s Jake Lockley.

One detail you missed is that from the episode 1 the size of moon 🌙 grows bigger with each episode and at the finale we see the moon🌕

Also On Episode 1 a girl ask Steven what Field of Reeds is and Steven says "i don't know I haven died yet". Then in episode 6 Steven and Marc was on their way to the Field of Reeds. Too bad Steven didn't manage to come there even tho he a crazy fans of Egyptian legend

Great breakdown, this show was amazing been waiting for years to see Moon Knight to be on the screen

I noticed the red coffin in episode 5 while they were inside the hallway of the magic ship. It was shaking and they didn't even bother to check it. That was the first time I thought that there was a 3rd personality hidden away that took over the first time when Mark asked if Steven did crazy sht to those Egyptian mercenaries.

Khonsu keeping Marc Spector and Steven Grant in the dark about Jack Lockley is interesting.

Maybe someone already pointed it out but when you see konshu "normally" his skull is floating on his body. But when hes in the rolls royce it appears as if its an actor with his neck part painted black. Great video as usual. Cant wait for doctor strange 2 0.25x.

I think the reason khonshu wears a suit is that not only did he do it in the comics but it was mentioned he was banished by the gods and he wore tattered clothing. But defeating admit most have convinced the other gods to un-ban him. And now he has fresh clothing because of it.

I definitely like that scarlet scarab is organically incorporated into the story. It actually makes sense to change gender in this instance, (mainly because Layla's father is dead)

Please don't worry about keeping your videos "tight"! We come to you because we want to see the intricate little missable details. If that means a 30+ minute video, so be it.

Also, since Marc and Steven have different suits, I would guess Jake also has his own, and I'm really excited to see it in S2

Moon Knight is my favorite character now! After Spiderman in MCU. I love the idea of a Series for new characters. Gives them enough time to go into details with that character. Like they did with Marc, what an emotional episode it was and Oscar Isaac is a true gem. You could almost feel the pain yourself with his acting skills.

The reason jake lockley was created was to “take the beatings” this is why jake comes out at the worst times . When konshu says he will release Marc and Steven he knew about jake so he still had control because they agreed to “ free them both” he freed Marc and Steven.

This is the first marvel series I am sad that it is over and actually miss it.

I think jake was already teased in the first episode, when steven wakes up in harrow little cult town' khonshu says "surrender the body to marc" THEN he says "oh the idiot's in charge" meaning khonshu knew abt the other personality
