I got teary eyes while uploading this video because this will be my last ever breakdown of No Way Home. Man this movie was something else! Tobey Maguire made me feel like a superhero when I was young, he was my hero that time! Seeing him back on screen after so many years (which I never imagined would happen), I just lose control every time, haha! Hey! I’m the guy from 5:47!!! The cape is supposed to represent the doctor strange cape, not Thor unfortunately. But I absolutely love the theory you made of it needing further engineering by combining the fact we were lab partners. Thanks for adding me in :)

The cape on the Statue of Liberty model doesn’t refer to thor, you can see a collar at the top of the cape meaning that it is dr strange’s cloak of levitation

A detail I liked in one of the added scenes was when Matt tells Happy to stop sweating, and Happy asks Matt how does he do that. Matt was able to sense Happy's body heat rising

I honestly loved this movie. Sure there’s some rushed parts and cgi let downs but what movie doesn’t have that nowadays? All of em! This movie marvel listened to the fans and we got exactly what we wanted! I loved every part of this movie it was like the same feeling as watching end game with more nostalgia since Tobey and Andrew were in here. At 3:56 it could also reference MJ from Spider-Man 2 when she told Peter 2 to "go them tiger" now in a plural form thus foreshadowing the appearance of all three Spider-Men

I think in 5:26 the iron man statue of liberty glove on the right hand is not the infinity gauntlet but his repulsor gloves because there is a blue stone in the middle of the palm and the iron man repulsor gloves has the arc reactor thing in the middle on the gloves palm.

5:29 It’s more likely Iron Man’s repulsor gauntlet. 5:31 Due to the collar around the neck, it actually seems to be based on Doctor Strange’s Cloak of Levitation.

9:34 you will see that there are three birds representing three spider mans which also happened in spiderman into the spider verse where there were 7 birds representing 7 spider people. In here there is a bird in the middle in front of tom, was also in the middle when all the 3 spider man landed on the statue of liberty and tom there was also in the middle.

5:37 I feel like that is moreso a reference to Dr. Strange as the cape flares up to the ears of the statue and moves on it's own, if it was referring to Thor it would be not only be a more flowing fabric, but also would not have the high collar up to the ears or higher. (probably would have a hammer as well instead of a torch.)

Right bro. I hate the defense that it's Tom's movie so all focus should be on him. Nah this is everyone else's movie he just in. They relied on the villain's and fans clinging on hope of the other spidermen being in the movie to get everyone hyped. If you gonna go big go all out or go home. I feel this movie could've been so much better than what it was but hey at least we got to see all our favorites in the MCU.

Tobey is a mature person now and has no need to fight Goblin when he has the cure, which he wanted to explore in his universe but couldn't do it.. Tom is immature kid whose aunt was just killed by Goblin... it just makes more sense to have Tom fight the Goblin.. Tobey fighting Goblin would ruin the tobey's character arc built over 3 movies.. because in spiderman 3 he understands what happened with his uncle and it wasn't intentional and forgives sandman ... Now Tom too became mature... 🚶 waiting for more mature story lines related to Spider-Man...

😭 nostalgia reminder... I'm really thankful to marvel showing Tobey and Andrew spiderman again on screen...at the time of no way home i got really emotional ..its basically a reminder of my good childhood memories, a life when there's isnt any stress and i was free and happy soul....also the ending scene was great when they showed tom spidy swing in classic looking suit in winters show fall.. a perfect reminder of my childhood memories 😭❤️❤️

the lego Statue of Liberty isn't Thor, it is Doctor Strange because of the of the cloak part around the back of the head and the cloak floating behind it. It is pretty hard to see when it is red on red.

I think that the guy holding the Statue of Liberty with the cape didn't mimic Thor's cape, but Doctor Strange's cape, you can see that the cape extends above to the back of the head and it moves by itself as the actual cape does.

I think the Statue of Liberty with the red cape is actually a reference to Doctor Strange because if you look closely, you can see the part of the cloak that goes above the neck and Thor doesn’t have that only Doctor Strange does

Here's something I noticed: 4:30 When Peter climbs the wall in the gym, he puts his hands flat on the wall to crawl, while usually the other spideys only use their fingertips (like Andrew's spidey on the ceiling at 10:45).

I took my kids to see the Tobey Spider-Man movies when they were younger and the Andrew movies too. All were in college for the Tom movies but with covid we watched them together. For my birthday this year in February they took me to see the new spider man movie and this has been my favorite movie I’ve seen in a while. My son showed me this channel so I could learn more about the movies. Was very happy when you did a top gun break down.

Amazing breakdown yet again!! I always love your videos, and you’re definitely the most knowledgeable MCU fan out there! I did see something in your breakdown though, however this is just my own opinion/speculation. The student who created the Statue of Liberty with the cape actually seems to be a nod to Dr. Strange, not Thor. It’s hard to see, but there appears to be a standing up collar on the cape as well (much like Dr. Strange’s cloak). Let me know your thoughts!

i noticed the same. Thor's cape doesn't have a hood, and the hood resembles the cloak of levitation more. But it's also hidden behind Lady liberty's crown, so i can forgive Canadian lad for not noticing it.

If you remember Dr. Strange asks Wang about the party they had.. wang say's no but Strange remembers.. is it possible that Strange still knows peter? Because he was the one to cast the spell and was also instead that circle

maybe the spell was to only make wong forget about the party and no one else.

@@Melody-ik4od either that, or another theory I had, which feels more accurate to Strange's character is that Strange never held the aforementioned party. He knew Wong wouldn't allow him to cast the spell unless he was sure Strange wouldn't mess up, and giving an example regarding Wong forgetting is the best example, because if an incident never happened, you won't remember anything of it, and given the capabilities of Strange, he can easily give an alibi that he "Used" a forgetting spell to make Wong "forget" the party: a party that never existed. This feels accurate because Strange loves to try out new stuff, and in this case, really wants to help Pete.

TLDR: If you don't remember a party ever happening, and the person concerned is able to cast a forgetting spell, you have no way; I repeat; NO WAY of clarifying if he is lying or not.

Hey everyone, I don't know if anyone noticed in the scene where Ned asks Tobey's spiderman if he has a friend and Tobey answers that his friend died in his arms after fighting him, Tom's spiderman tries to talk to Ned while getting closer to him but Ned tries to keep away from him as possible 😆😆😆 I like how Tom's spiderman is confused in that moment

at 1:39 if you slow down, you can see that the Canadian lad included a what if animation style scene in which America Chavez running with venom and baby Groot and a female iron man type figure in the behind this was in the snap trailer too i wonder if this is from what if season 2
