Glad you got your ears saved Besty! I had to do this by myself a couple years ago. It was such a great feeling to hear properly again after a day of clogged ears. Always good to see Steady Eddy! Hemmingways looks like a great place. Cheers!

I wear the silicon swimmer ear plugs during each songkran. My first songkran I had a bad ear infection. Ugh.. You are both looking good! Songkran was a wild time for sure. I’m limping my way to Chiang Mai for some rest and relaxation haha

Nice vlog, it was great seeing Mark again. I spent most of my time in Hemmingways when I was there for the world cup. Great guy, great bar, great food!! i'm curious, will you be doing another review of the Barracuda? I'm sure you've done one before 🤔

Funny you should mention that MPR. The review of the Baraquda suite will be up either next or the one after. I am unable to book the baraquda on any site including the ALL app which leads me to believe that Accor will either be shutting it for a much needed refit soon or shutting it altogether. It's currently still open but it is unavailable in September.

So do I. Unfortunately I am only a tourist. I don't have any business interests in Thailand. Nor any way of working it there. There are a few more videos from this trip coming up, and I shall be back in the kingdom in the autumn.

I wish they fix the flood issue first. So much money coming in to the city but they got to improve the area and the beach quality. NO drainage pipes on the beaches.

Hi Delayed Dave. I don't live in Thailand. I only make videos when I'm over there. I'm going to Rome next month. I might take the camera. If not, I'll be back in hailand in a few months so there'll be more on the way.

Did you get water in your ears during Songkran many people get ear problems from that. Any chance of reviews on those 2 hotels. Eddie is a top bloke great vlogger. Thought you might show the cod dinner.

This was pre Songkran. I have done 2 previous Songkrans though. It's not really for me, just some people absolutely love it. It's pretty difficult to book the Debus hotel actually, they are not on the consolidator sites and they only seem to have a FB page not a proper website. The amethyst, I shall be reviewing in my next trip in the autumn. There's still a couple of hotel reviews to come on this trip though.

@@BigFatBesty the exchange kiosk you looked at is one of the look-a-like TT booths, they paint them up like TT then give you way lower rates, ALWAYS look for official TT booths👍👍👍

@@BigFatBesty Get them cleaned out at least once a year. I went to Bangkok hospital in Pattaya. They use microsuction. It cost something like 3000 baht.

This place in the video did the trick. 500 Baht per ear. Didn't take long either. 10 minutes per ear this time.
