FINDING FREEDOM IN VIETNAM #8
A lovely lady from the market took me in. I stayed with them for few days. The owner of the coffee shop where I was working insisted I come along to film something special. It’s some kind of regional celebration but I still don’t really know.
Hope this one isn’t too long. Thanks for all the support everyone! This is going much better than I expected.

I rarely leave any comment on youtube but after watching all of your videos, I think I need to say something. I have some mental-issues that prevent me to go outside, basically I can get panic being alone in a strange place or surrounded by strangers, but I wish that someday I can travel around the country (or world, lol, big dream) so that's why I feel at ease sometime watching your video, oh and those clips regain some of my trust in people, so I wish you nothing but the best, hope you'll find the peaceful or anything that you're seeking, life is full of paradox but it's beautiful isn't it?

What u attended was a "Cầu Ngư" ceremony, literally translated to "wishing for fish". It is held annually in many coastal regions after Tet holidays ❤ Bro, even i dont know much about my own culture cuz it's too diverse, each region have to own stuff, but thanks to you i find it so interesting, keep up the goodwork❤

@@bisko.adventure yah, we do seperate between religion (Buddhism, Christian, Catholicism,...) and beliefs (ancestors, good weather, godly animals, gods of crops/money/land,.. ). Most of vietnamese practice beliefs regularly
