Had a great time traveling over to Munich, Germany for the 2024 Numismata coin show. There were tons of fantastic people there that I was so thankful to have met, and I gained immeasurable perspective on purchasing coins overseas (as well as the chance to meet many more numismatists from around the world). And had a lot of fun visiting my cousin, Jan Niklas - family is important!!

Hey Christian, it's kinda late of a notice but our country, The Philippines, will hold our first ever coin convention this coming August 23-25, 2024. But as per organizers, it will be a yearly event, so hope you can visit 😊

Im german Scottish. I never knew Germany has any numismatists. But it makes sense their city states coins are beautiful.

Künker does ebay auctions, i've got some coins from them. I got the same patrona bavaria taler pin for about 20€ from one of their auctions a couple months ago.

How was it traveling with all that loot? I mean was there any issues or special considerations for returning to the US with all your purchases? I would imagine that it didn’t go in your checked bag, but I’m sure going through customs and security check points could be hairy

We shipped it (& then FedEx can levy whatever fees they want). I also had some dealers wait for export permits (depending on their countries / the material) and ship after the show. Have to play by the rules over there!
