I've experienced both ends of the spectrum. Both villager hunts where I found someone I was looking for in the first couple of tickets and ones where I spent hours to find nobody on my list. I guess its the lucky ones that make me forget about the nightmare ones and keep doing them.

I’ve played ACNH since month 1, and I’ll safely say that villager hunting is probably one of my least favorite things to do in the game 😭 You expect to get a god-tier villager, and once you actually get there, it’s usually just a barf-green bull/lion/chicken or something 😭😭😭 … but I was addicted to it and probably spend MILLIONS of nook miles… Oh… can’t forget when I passed up ankha, Zucker, Whitney, and Raymond once because I was looking for Octavio… spoilers, I didn’t find him lmao 😅

I just got shino out my island and I was SO HAPPY. I lost nibbles and I saw flurry and thought I’d get better, then.. it auto filled to shino, today shino left the island and I’m going for a dream island so I chose nan! About 100,000,000 more to go-😂

This happened to me yesterday. I got an empty villager plot at 3am it took 997 tickets but then it turned 5am I noticed, why is there no villager until I saw some villager called Angus at my island whyyyyyy. Even if I didn’t have empty plot they’d be no one there Nintendo why 😢
