As a woman I feel so disrespected by the trans community

Sadly, this exact thing happened here in Ontario Canada. "An alarming study from Canada's prisons department has revealed that nearly half of the country's male-to-female trans inmates has a history of sexual offenses against women and children". That's from the CRC website. More disturbing..."44% of those, were a self diagnosis".

I am a man, and I struggle to imagine how a victim of sexual assault must feel, when she is confronted with a male body in a place where she should not expect one...like in a gym-shower or a female prison.Its so disgusting...

There was a man that got kicked out for looking at a woman in a gym, but the problem is he is blind. He tried to tell them this, but no one listened He wasn't looking anywhere. HE IS BLIND.

Looking in a public place it is okay. What is NOT okay it is touching without permission! If you feel offended when someone looking at you, it may be a good idea to do your thing in a private place!

I feel so much sorrow for biological females, they are being completely forgotten and their rights are just being diminished. Piers does a great job of talking straight while remaining respectful to every guest. Esther is very smart and has strong clear lines drawn, and her presentation is on. Walsh has a point though you know, and if women don't want to be gawked at then they should not wear gear that is almost bedroom attire. Personally when I go to the gym, even though its human nature to look around at other people, I am there to work on myself and don't give a damn what anyone else is doing.

I've been going to the gym for over 10 years now and yes you do look at people, I'm a male and I have women and men watching me it doesn't bother me, but the people who get stared at the most are people filming themselves and talking to themselves.

"Gender Theory" was probably a term used to define academic study between the two sexes (gender in place of sex as a more palatable word). I say "probably" because its an assumption made about the lost correlation between the words sex and gender as being synonymous in the same way "transgender" and "transsexual" meant the same thing until there was an academic differentiation between the words sex and gender. I believe the root cause of this confusion between the left and right is when the left (predominantly) pushed for the notion of sex and gender being two different things.

She has a seductive IG and an OF account, dressed scantly at the gym, but hates attention. That one lady is clearly lying. There is no way you go to a public gym and not look at someone. You’d be bumping into everyone and everything. There’s a difference between looking and staring. Most people don’t stare.

One time I was at the gym and I happened to see a female using an equipment improperly which could have caused her some some serious damage and I kept contemplating whether or not to even inform her because of fear she would think I was stalking her

I served this "man" most days at my work and from the very first moment I encountered him I explicitly told everyone who'd listen "there is something noticeably dangerous and predatory about him" and I was right. And although i was making everyone uncomfortable, i insisted further every time. He did not like me, and the tension between us was palpable whenever he came in. On our first ever encounter, he asked for a 6inch Chicken Tikka (i work Irvine subway). I was professional, courteous, and helpful. No drama. But I sensed tension nonetheless that I now believe came down to me not going out my way to call him "she/her" at any moment while serving. In fact, I did not use any pronouns at all. Second time he came in and I made the sinful transgression of calling him "pal" (which I call everyone, including my wife). He immediately pounced on this as if waiting with "don't call me pal". To which i challenged in return "why not?". He said "it's a gendered term". I retorted with disagreement. He became more irate, claiming "pal is something bros call each other over drinks" But I stood my ground saying he was simply "factually wrong and if I can call my mother, my wife, my daughters and Any female stranger "pal" what makes you any different?". My coworker, sensing danger stepped in and walked away. However I could hear this idiot complaining to her about the term pal while also repeatedly calling her "doll/sweetheart/babe" etc 🤣. And i couldn't help but laugh. As you can imagine that experience didn't go well and he complained to my boss but only when I wasn't there 🤣. My boss, knowing I'm a straight shooter with good customer service shrugged it off. There were many more uncomfortable situations prior however our last one was the most heated. He came in and I immediately prepared myself mentally for more nonsense. Again I was professional, civil etc. Got the whole way through the transaction with only a minor uncomfortable tension. Then right as I was wrapping everything up he asked for a bag. I reply "of course" (exnay on the alpay) and the nutter blows up and starts shouting about how his bag didn't have a handle!!! I was only temporarily startled, although this was the overboiling pot I'd been sensing all along, but I didn't shout, or apologise or anything. Instead I leaned forward, chin on my hand and elbow on the till, with a sardonic little smile and waited for him to finish his tantrum, the way a parent watches a toddler throwing a tantrum, and once he'd had his tissy I calmly replied "thats the reality of it. You'll have to just deal with it. Still want a bag?"...and he proceeds to shout about how, get this, it was probably the tories fault 🤣 to which I could not help but laugh openly in his face. I said "sorry but you think the reason why we have to give out paper bags without handles is because the Tories? 🤣 factually wrong again pal. That would be the green party, snp and environmentalists in general. Tories would be about the only party agreeing with you paper bags are stupid" and he grabbed his sandwich and stormed out (no bag) 🤣. Next time I see him he's all over phone being called a rapist. True story.

If someone wears gym clothes and it makes them look attractive or desirable to others. That's not harassment, someone is attracted to you because you are wearing those clothes. If they take pictures or videos of you without consent then it's harassment.

How could we not know better

No more filming in the gym. Except safety-filming of the gym-building itself.

Most of these societal problems seem to come from people who think that they know what other people are thinking and then use social media to unfairly shame people based on those assumptions. This is the problem with feelings vs facts. Feeling are fleeting, unreliable and often wrong. A society that runs on facts is not perfect but it's a lot more fair for everyone.

I'm a 68 yr old woman and I take a disabled gentleman that I work for to the gym twice a week. I can't resist staring at nearly naked young women. It's appalling.

Ban mobile phones from gyms, SIMPLE!!! the local sports centre where I live ban them and there's never been a case of this nonsense going on!!
