I would have shown her a 3rd dress. One that gives the silhouette of the 1st dress (especially the back and the train) but has a little more bling. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Buying the most expensive gown won't always be the excellent choice it just gives you more options on the shop .

At the point where this bride was being urged to choose between 2 dresses, Gok would have asked to pick one and put her in something nobody would have picked that would turn out to be....perfect.

I looked her up on instagram, and she didnt actually end up wearing this dress. she wore a kind of mermaid dress that looked amazing on her I think - way classier than this choice if I may say so

Never tell David you have an unlimited budget because he already wants to force you to spend way more than necessary. By saying you're willing to pay anything, he won't show you the best dresses that are usually less expensive.

For real though, you bet I'd be at Elie Saab getting a customised gown if I had an unlimited budget.

It amuses me when she says “the back is so lovely” when the back that she’s talking about is her own back because there’s no dress right there! (But I will give that to her, she has a very lovely back!)

Expensive doesn't equal better. If I had an unlimited budget I would honestly just search the store and pull out whatever caught my eye, rather than letting the consultants simply pick out the most expensive dress.

I'm not sure elegant is the right word for that dress.

I didn't like any of the dresses! The first one she tried on (the one she eventually preferred) had a strange, unflattering feature on the left-hand side, running down the side of her torso. And the illusion panel just blocked her entire chest and upper chest area. The second dress was lovely but lacked the wow factor. I wish she had tried on more dresses. It's just my opinion, but I was so disappointed.

I thought it must have looked way better in person….because it looked like wedding night lingerie to me. They sell slips/night dresses that look similar to that.

The mesh panels on dress #1 were bizarre and ruined the look. Why go for a plunging neckline, but have another part right up to the neck? And why go backless if it's covered in a badly coloured "flesh" panel?? 🥴

If I had an unlimited budgetfor my wedding dress, I would at least try 10 dresses before picking one, not the first that comes in my way. Or, is there a limit to the number of dresses u can try here?

She ended up buying two different dresses for her wedding (which was moved to a beach in Dubai) which was apparently delayed because she got pregnant. A very standard strapless, sweetheart neckline, beaded mermaid gown with a ruffled bottom which did look lovely on her & a lovely sleek sequinned gown with spaghetti straps that she wore for her reception. There’s a huge spread in the daily mail uk on it.

Im glad she chose the first dress. It is perfect for her.

I didn’t care for either dress. The second dress was more flattering, but as soon as Mom (excuse me, Mum) said she hates spiders, that would have been the kiss of death on that dress. And I didn’t think the veils looked good with either dress. Too overwhelming.

I think I just don't like David Emmanuel. He always seems overly and unnecessarily dramatic, and he regularly puts brides in dresses they can't afford (not this episode but others). Compared to Randy, Gok and Lori/Monte DM pales as a host and as a bridal consultant.

As a wedding dress stylist, she definitely like the other one more, and settled because of people's opinions. They should've grabbed a middle ground dress, that everyone loves. But sadly, corporate is very hard core about appointment times.
