July 29, 2021, I woke up with the Carman song, Bless The Name of Jesus on my mind. Wanted to listen to it all day, I finally do in the wee hours of July 30, 2021. It leads me to other Carman songs, and finally to this one, and now I learn from a comment that Carman passed on to bless the name of Jesus in person, in February 2021.

As a kid I use to think this song was boring after two great ones to open the video and into a slow song. Now as a Adult I can proudly say that I appreciate this song more then ever. It brought tears to my eyes when I finally watched it threw and I wish I had more appreciation back then. Holding on is a good one too. Especially with the old lady at the beginning over her son's grave was heartbreaking.

This one and We Need God in America are my favorite Carmen songs of all times. I wasn't raised Christian but these music videos came on tv way back when and spoke directly to my soul. I gave my life to Christ at 16. He is the truth. The Bible answered and still answers all my questions.

I remember growing up listening to Carman. My aunt showed me one of his videos and I was hooked. His music was the large reason my soul was deep rooted in Christian music in the early 90s . Thank you carman for using your talents to preach the gospel in the most creative ways. I'll never forget the ways I was able to learn scripture and even have my faith built up. I love carman music I was saved in one the concerts in beaumont tx

I've seen Carmen 4 times and my prayers are with you always I know what it's like having cancer I've had it and now I'm cancer free now for 15 years I'm a cancer survivor.

Seen Carman in the mid to late 80's at Jesus Northwest what an amazing time celebrating and praising with Carmen. My brother got to meet you and talked about it his whole life. He went home to Jesus and God the Father just after he turned 50 but he still talked about that time until the end.

I have followed Carmen for almost 20 something years since I was about 8 years old when I first started going to church and I still following today one of my all time favorite Christian godly singers and I am 34 years old and my brother in Christ just went through some medical and God is fighting for him and pulling him through amen and praise God for his recovery as always through Christ all things are possible

This is a very powerful song about faith.

Dec 7, 2019: Thanks Carman. *I finished my third graduate program in 2017 from a Christian university, but have still been unable to find a job. My son, Troy McIntyre now owes thousands more as we struggle to survive. (His dad Guy often cursed me and stated, "You will barely survive!") Of course, the car was repossessed and we are now on assistance once again. Troy is looking forward to letting the Navy pay him to work on a nuclear submarine, so perhaps things will begin to look up. I'm a little fearful and anxious, but you beat cancer! So happy for you!
