Just a suggestion here. Next time you are home have your truck inspected as close to your house as possible. If there is an issue you are close enough to do something about it and you’re not under a load.

One scam being run is turning a phone to airplane mode before sending an ACH or cash app. It looks like a legit transaction at the time, but the transaction never leaves the scammer’s phone. Forget the Anchorage, Alaska run.... As a former resident of Delta Junction, Alaska (legal official end of the Alcan Hwy) several years ago (winter 73 thru fall 77) we almost could set our clocks by certain trucks that had dedicated runs from stateside to Fairbanks / Anchorage especially during the long winters....... Some of the flat beds /.low boys would actually back haul military personel personal vehicles back to the north west of the United States at no charge (free or very low cost) just to add some weight on the trailer to keep the trailer from bouncing over the frozen roads...This was during the construction of the Alaska Pipeline... Canada was and is not gun friendly especially handguns and certain long guns.. Even to US Military Personel traveling on Change of Duty Station Orders (PCS).....

I ended my last trip in Columbia SC on Friday. When I loaded in Arkansas, they said the load was 48K so I hit the CAT scale - 82,680 with a 1/2 tank of fuel. Anyone with a sleeper cab would be over with a 48K load and who hauls a load from Ft. Arkansas to Columbia SC with a day cab?

A lot of cement slabs that leave Savage, Mn. near Shakopee. Some guys used to haul grain into Savage, Mn. with sidekit flatbeds. Not sure if that is still done?

If you go to Alaska, plan on dead heading out. Also, this time of the year, plan on rough roads due to the damage from the winter frost, road construction delays, and maybe changing a windshield or two. Oh, and don't forget the black flies because this time of the year they are brutal.. Other than that, nice scenery if you don't mind losing money.

It's not the internet know you're correct it's your devices you need to clear the cache memory and data / browser history, that will fix that issue.

Hey man, I have a simpleton question for you, why do you always pull your trailer breaks? I ran with a large flat bed company and I only pulled the trailer when I dropped the trailer. I now run heavy haul and never pull trailer brakes unless I'm shutting down for the day. Of course in this situation when I drop my deck I pull the emergency line off the neck so basically setting the brakes.

It's a headache to pass by into Canada if you are carrying. You gotta have paperwork and lots of other things. Also you gotta declare it. Just avoid bringing it if you are coming up here

As an Alaskan, I will tell you right now that it would be a HUGE MISTAKE to take a load to go up here. The roads will tear your truck apart, fuel in Canada is 6bucks+ a gallon and fuel in Alaska is not much better. And good luck finding anything going out of the state as there is no manufacturing.
