Hola! Wanted to inform people on here that you do not need to wait 24-48hrs to report anyone missing (kids or adults). I work for a law enforcement agency and I was a dispatcher and we would take any report of a missing person. All we ask is that they know we will notify all departments such as TSA and other law enforcement agency’s in case they fly out of state or whatever EVERYONE knows this person is labeled as “missing”. Wow when Marlene mentioned she constantly thinks about death made me feel not alone it’s constantly running through my mind every single day & it drives me crazy 😭😢 even when you guys were talking about it the parent part has me crying any tips cause I know it’s part of life but that’s why I want to live without worrying about it

I think as we get older and now because we consume so much social media- it’s so easy for us to constantly think about death. It’s also important to remind yourself to live in the moment and not stress because in the same way- we could die tomorrow. Love and enjoy your life and love on your family 🫶🏻 look at what’s happening in Gaza, thank god and practice gratitude.

Omg same but for me its my kids like what if something happens to me i just worry about them 😭 i lost my mom when i was 7 and the feeling freaking sucks so i just cry everytime i think of whats gonna happen to them when im gone 😥

I suffered from severe anxiety stemming from thinking about death for years. It started as a child having a dream. It’s crazy how that can happen. I got saved and no longer have a fear of death. It’s the best thing i could have ever done for my life. I don’t think of it as a religious thing it’s more like a revelation in life. A milestone. Realizing that this life is temporary and the legacy you lead is what you leave.

Please do not wait 24 or 48 hours to report someone missing. That is not true. That was made up, you can report someone missing as soon as you find out. The law does not say you have to wait. I dont know where people got that information from. Maybe movies? Ask any Law Enforcement Officer, you can report anyone missing from the moment you find out. Theres procedures to be followed, always report as soon as you realize the person is in fact missing.

Lost my dad when I had just turned 15 two months after my quince. Hardest experience to ever go through.. best advice is to just appreciate your loved ones while they’re still here & create as many memories as possible ♥️♥️

i feel sad for these girls because the pain they are going to feel when they lose their parents is going to be unbearable and i would never wish that pain on anyone especially when they really really love their parents like they do. i’ve lost both my parents and two brothers and there’s absolutely nothing like it, your world completely changes. cherish the moments you have with them because when you least expect it, they are gone.

Marlene is so relatable and her thinking about losing any of her loved ones every day made me want to cry because the same fear runs through my head and I even have nightmares about it 😢. Does anybody know if this is normal ? I even have to keep my apartment clean and in order just in case I don’t make it back home 😟 and my family needs to go and get my stuff out 🥺 idk I don’t think this is normal 😢💔

She also said the cops won’t take a missing person case until it’s been 24 - 48 hours but that’s not true and was a myth started bc law enforcement and lots of police don’t want to take on the case, so yes most times it is their fault 😭

Itati, it is unfortunate that many criminals are allowed to post bail when a crime has been reported and sometimes obviously committed. Unfortunately, when officers request a no bail bond, it is not always granted by the judge or the court system. Anyone is proven innocent until guilty. It is unfortunate this man was able to post bail. However, I wanted to comment that it’s not always the officers fault. 😢 just like our court system has failed so has our governor of California. He has just approved to release over 4500 inmates that “were under good behavior” for violent crimes.
