Thanks! And yes I always prosp for 6, if I do it before going for Heatsoul combo then I will usually banish the Heatsoul (because I can’t draw off it that turn) along with both link spider, harmonizer, flare metal and then something else that I can’t remember 😅

When I get xyz locked is when nothing overly interesting happens (no Cyberse shenanigans), but it’s when Ty-Phon definitely shines going second because although you’re passing on a minimalistic board, Ty-Phon helps to ensure they will have not much left for turn 3 - or it also lets you OTK through Nib more easily Going first when I’m Xyz locked is when Ogre and Prep help a lot, because they give you that extra bit of pressure. Usually if I’m xyz locked going first I’ll be aiming to go Unicorn+Fenrir+Shangri+Birth if I have the field Spell (to make Shang a semi-interruption after I use Unicorn), and the idea with Harmonizer was that if I have a load of bodies that I can make that - but I think at that point passing on Fenrir Unicorn Ogre is just better. These end boards are quite weak, but they are hard to otk through and if your hand has few enough cards to restrict you to such an end board then it normally means that the rest of your hand is tech cards or they hand trapped you twice - meaning they are trying to beat your big scary kash monsters and birth with only 4 cards

What I meant was that instead of doing Heatsoul draw at that moment, you would do it after extending with Theosis at the end of the combo (when you bring back Fenrir). My apologies for not being clearer 🙏

It’s hand-dependant but that’s what I plan on covering in the KZfaq video on the deck this upcoming week, because I just won another regional with the deck today Just Fenrir by itself can make Heatsoul, but I usually choose not to because that will lose to a hand trap, so instead if my hand is Fenrir and 3-4 techs I will search Unicorn and pass. With Unicorn by itself I will aim to end on Unicorn Fenrir with Fenrir searching a second Unicorn for follow-up, assuming the hand has 3-4 techs behind it

@@LukeTylerYGO avramax can't be targeted, and masquerena makes it so it can't be destroyed by card effects. Opponent has to put something bigger than 3k on the field with a Typhon which they most likely won't be able to do since Typhon has to use the highest atk monster on the field to summon it

If I have to use Prosperity first I will usually go for just I:P from Dracossack (using the extra body to make S:P in their turn), but if I don’t have to use Prosperity first I will do the Heatsoul I:P combo and use Prosperity instead of the first draw from Heatsoul - but this is very hand dependent

Another question: If you draw shifter going first what do you do? If you activate it from the start to protect yourself from veiler/droll, you cannot make the G golem combo since the link spiders wouldnt go to the graveyard@@LukeTylerYGO

With Shifter I do it first, then go for an I:P or Shangri end board (or if I have multiple shifter I use S:P to banish Shifter from grave so I can Shifter them again 2 turns later) The Heatsoul combo is essentially for when I don’t have Shifter, because if I have Shifter I’m already at a massive advantage against most decks

Game 1 I generally expect to be quite rough against Lab, Shifter and Imperm definitely get sided out but they can find value sometimes Then I side heavily against it for game 2 and 3 with Cosmic, Lightning Storm, Duster and Belle (in the regional today I mained the 3rd Belle instead of siding all 3)

Is there anything in particular I can give advice for? 😅 Confidence and composure is important , when you get to higher tables you may find yourself feeling the pressure if it’s a new experience for you - so prepare yourself for that

@@LukeTylerYGO it’s not an new experience for me but especially in a Handtrap Deck it is important to throw your Handtraps at the right Moment. In this format you need habdtraps at the right place. I want to figure this out with good players for decks like: fire king, lab,rescue, Runick bystial
