This song is so perfect for Nathan & Elizabeth’s journey! Elizabeth has always been strongly drawn to Nathan but I think she needed her time with Lucas so she could see Nathan for himself and not as a replacement for Jack. So excited to see where this goes!!

You are so talented. Buckle up. This will be lengthy. I never expected this storyline. I was sure she was marrying Lucas and I had to accept that. If I was going to watch when calls the heart, I have to accept LukBeth. But no, the writers made me so happy. Never in 1 million years did I expect this. And after watching all this time, I like Lucas, but she gave him his life back. And I hope to God that Elizabeth and Nathan stay together and get together quickly. In my opinion they. need each other.

I think their was plenty of signs it was going to be Nathan that Elizabeth ended up with. I still had faith the writers would break up Elizabeth and Lucas. I just thought they would break them up sooner than they did. But there were hints that it was Nathan. 1) the plaque Nathan gave Elizabeth Alway, do what your afraid to do. 2) the bachelor/bachorette party the blinded hand holding game she picked Nathan 3) at Clara and Jesse's wedding Carson took a picture of Elizabeth with Nathan (there was no picture of Elizabeth and Lucas at any weddings) Hints for the writers to Grant us a blended family 1) Looking back after what the writers did, I also think Allie just inviting Elizabeth to her adoption ceremony was a clue that Elizabeth would eventually become Allie's adoptive mom. The motherless child would finally get a mom after losing hers when she was just four years old. 2) the writers gave Lucas a nickname for Jack Jr. to use for Lucas "buddy" I believe this shows us that's all Lucas will ever be to Jack Jr. his "buddy" 3) the writers never gave Jack Jr. a nickname for Nathan. Elizabeth always referred to him as mountie Nathan to little Jack and that's all Jack Jr. ever called Nathan "mountie Nathan" So the writers never gave Jack Jr. a nickname for Nathan. I believe this was intentional on the writers part, I think Nathan and Elizabeth will date, marry, and become a blended family. Nathan never got a nickname because he will go from mountie Nathan to "dad" after Nathan adopts Jack Jr. just as Nathan went from uncle Nathan to "dad" when he adopted his niece, Allie. I hope I'm right with all the hints I saw. ❤😂
