When I first met my husband we were seniors in college and we went on a couple coffee dates. I thought he was great but I couldn’t see how our futures would flow together. Turns out that timing is everything. We kept in touch. We wrote letters and emails and those turned into phone calls and two years later we reconnected in person and started long distance dating. We’ve been married for 21 years. Sometimes a few dates can’t tell you what you need to know or feel about a person. And a solid friendship is the best foundation because the fireworks sometimes fizzle while the friendship endures.

Wow, what a nice-looking young man with an incredible build. He looks a little like Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps. He also has an awesome-sounding voice. FYI - a super-deep connection most likely won't happen right away. But, it can still happen with someone you've already met - it doesn't have to be "love at first sight". Take it from me, a much older female, who knew this 1 guy since age 13, then all of a sudden BOOM! at age 21 I fell in love. In the end, it didn't work out, but that's okay.
