Shoutout to Jarrad! Genuinely touched to see a foreigner build a wonderful career for a young player from the devastated Chinese league. Zhao's club, Hebei FC is probably the most pathetic football club in the world right now. Zhao and his teammates had barely been paid last season and are filing lawsuit to get their wage back. Hebei FC got a 9 points penalty on the league table for not paying wages. Having only earn 6 points for the whole season, Hebei FC ended up with -3 points and got relegated. There's rumour that the club will soon be dismissed. A few years back, great players like Mascherano, Lavezzi and Gervinho were playing for Hebei FC. Zhao must felt that there was an exiciting career ahead of him when he was on the youth team. Now, nobody would blame 19-year-old Zhao even if he decide to quit his football career. I gues Jarrad picked Zhao by chance without knowing the background. It is also unlikely that Zhao will see this video. But still, great thanks for the effort! Keep up the good work!

I 100% don't expect you to get this first time, but Chinese names in general are built with one (consecutive) vowel syllables (characters). so Zhao is one character (zh is more close to a j as in jail than a z) and ZiYe is two syllables.

Me and my brother signed Ryan Sessengon from free agents for Norwich in season 3 to replace our injured winger. Converted him to a striker almost by accident. He broke the Premier League top goalscorer record 3 years running with 33, 36 and 39 as well as scoring 11 and 13 goals whilst winning the Euros and World Cup respectively… Never won the Ballon d’or :(
