I worked in Dubai as a maid for 4 years and I relocated to Uganda now I own a school.
In today's video we are watching the story of Salla Tourist who went to Dubai as a maid and has now become an owner of a community school. Her story of owning a school began on her mother's veranda during the quarantine back in 2020.
She started a KZfaq channel where she documented most of her story and her subscribers started a campaign to build the first classroom.
Her school is called Salla's Academy located magaga a village between Jinija and Iganga. It's a community based school which she runs with her mother and her closest friend Kim Ug. He story is proof that once you focus on something it pays off.

I may be old for your society but I would love to teach to your kids math, xcel and spanish just for a dish of rice with veggies and a place to sleep. I would put a sport in those kids lives, running and soccer. Music too. I imagine their smiles when small things are accomplished and they dream for a better future. I am not a teacher, I am not a coach, just a normal random person seeing beauty and kindness in you both as well as the kiddos you teach.

Great what an inspiration to many, my only advice to you is some investors Akabano will come to offer you loans, do not take it, many have lost their investments in the name of these scam loans to reinvest. When you default once they will come after your investment project.
