Twas was very blessed to attend CFNI many years ago with the precious woman who wrote this song: Sondra Corbett. I have 3 questions to ask you regarding the lyrics. I’m trying to listen to the song as I would like to lead it however, I’m having a hard time making out the words. So just wanted to clarify some words from the 2nd stanza. Please help as I don’t want to change the original version. 1. For I desire to be (Yours)- is it “Yours” or “For I desire to be (whole)”? 2. You’re (thought)- is it really thought? 3. As I (cast) my eyes- or is it “As I close my eyes”? Thank you very much. Hope to get some help.
