Kieran was going up there to Ogerpon's Cave a lot of time and never got to see her. We just got there and Ogerpon appear and befriend us To some extend i can undestand Kieran's feelings

I really love the story of this game. Here we are, expecting Kieran to be Wally 2.0 and he ended up being so much more than that. From his POV, we (the player) took away everything from him and he thinks its because he is not strong enough, rolling the red carpet for him becoming the next DLC Antagonist. And Carmine starting from hating outsiders to naturally growing closer to us (the player). Carmine at the start is very overprotective of Kieran and always prioritized him. For example, she forbids Kieran from lending his favorite mask away to the player. However at the end of the story, she prioritize the greater good and told Kieran that "I know how deeply you feel about Ogerpon, I truly do, but I think it would be the best for Ogerpon to go with the Player" that right there is a truly great sister. Lastly, I also noticed that by the end of the story they switches roles.

The only proper ball to catch Ogerpon in is the Friend Ball. The DLC even gives you another one from doing it's Pokedex, it's like they WANT you to use this ball for catching her. That said, I did catch her properly and I decided on the name "Ivory".

Carmine didn’t bother me nearly as much as she did other people. She actually grew on me. The turn from overbearing to friendly was certainly rushed but welcome. Kieran on the other hand… I began to dread talking to him. The way he obsessed over it and then started acting like Ogerpon was a prize to be won rather than an individual with an opinion… that was unnerving.

I purposely switched out my team for a single level 1 pokemon to let Kieran beat me in the last battle over Ogerpon just to see what would happen, and all I got was a teleport back to the pokemon center with the same prompt to battle Kieran again. It's almost like the game devs WANT you to shatter his dreams or something

I always got defensive with Kieran when he tried to get closer with Ogerpon. For real got very aggressive against Kieran when he wanted to take Ogerpon. I went full Gollum mode "Kieran, you place a hand on my precious and I'll cut it and shove it down your arse!" I named Ogerpon "Precious" 😊
