4 жыл бұрынUkigumo is the 4th technique of the Chuden or intermediate set of waza taught in Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu and Muso Shinden Ryu Iaijutsu.
There is a mistake in this video : Yamamoto Harusuke Sensei deos not perform Ukigumo, but Yamaoroshi. My apologies.
This video is one of a set of compilations of clips from films shot during the 20th century of ancient Japanese masters demonstrating their Arts

I was not able to identify all of the masters featured in these videos. Your input would be appreciated. Some of them practiced under Oe Masamichi, founder of Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu, and Nakayama Hakudo, founder of Muso Shinden Ryu, is featured in a few of these compilations.

Seeing Yamamoto Harusuke Sensei switch footwork totally threw me for a loop! These guys are incredible. Every single one is different. Kind of reminds me of an article I read about how apples originated in Kazakhstan and they figured that out because of the vast diversity of "species" (for lack of a better term) that was discovered there. I never cease to appreciate how diverse our system is. Thank you again for sharing.

Hi :) Thank You for Your great work, but I'm thinking that You made small mistake. In 0:49 sensei Harusuke isn't performing Ukigumo, but (Yama)Oroshi - from what I know (I'm practice MSR), strike to face in Yamaoroshi is characteristic to MJER (in MSR is hit to oponent's hand) - it is easy to compare with his next embu (4:47). Regards :)!

Yamamoto Harusuke sensei was performing "Yamaoroshi" in this video, not "Ukigumo"
