Thanks for the video. I live in Bali and will try to check this out first hand after the pandemic gets settled. Seaweed farming was really big in Bali being one of the initiatives during the New Order period but it's been let die to a large degree. However, the economic projection for seaweed is very promising. In the case of Bali it depends a lot on availability for processing facilities. Basically they can only sell raw dried product currently as with most other natural resources because of lack of investment in processing infrastructure. But the new seaweed systems are not focused only on seaweed but shellfish and other marine life with market potential. Unfortunately, again it's all limited by lack of facilities for adding value to the natural products.

can't believe that 40hp pushes that boat so well considering how robust they built it , around here they would swear a boat that size needs 2 150's ....

It seems that all around the world happiness is a 40 hp Yamaha tiller steer...It seems to be the standard workhorse for all kinds of boats...

40 h.p. is quite economical for a boat of that size.

I would use my boat mainly in the Indian River Lagoon in Florida, but would like to take it offshore (close) for diving for lobster and spear fishing. I'm trying to understand how the optional front hatch would work....could it be confirmed to drop under water to allow easy egress and ingress to the boat by divers w/ tanks?

Is the seaweed here used to produce Nori? I'm curious about the product. I think I'm going to build one of Spira's Garvey's also (the 19') but I'm really curious about your seaweed product. Thank you from sunny Florida.

is the curvature of the whole boat that important in a garvey/dory or could you make a completely flat one with just a curve in the very front of the bow, sorry im new to boat building
