That's where AI fails, it is repetitive, once you see the pattern you can adapt to it. That's why while a software becomes really sentient they will not completely defeat a human player.

5:07 so the Drive Gauge does everything from counter to counter attack to attack to ex moves etc... nice ! sometimes to make a comeback you gotta do a triple Drive attack starting for ex with a counter while defending cause it exists in Street Fighter 6 and then combo into Drive then combo then Drive then Super right ! or before super a combo right

At that point, I just wish Capcom have an event at the end of Evo, like when the winner takes the cup, lights blackout, the vs screen appears with a CPU lvl8, the 8 fizzle on the screen to get replace by a 9 :D.

lvl 3 takes like 1.5 drive gauge meter of your oponent and during the animation you recover around the same amount (with Ryu at Least) so its an excellent "shit i need meter fast" panic button being in "burnout" state sucks (and i luv it) im teaching myself to care about my meter

I swear though, they're going to have some predictive AI algorithm one day that's literally going to crush everyone and be like, "So...who's next?" Capcom just needs to give an update later on a CPU Level 9 and just make it the hardest learning AI in gaming history just because they can; just make it the ultimate Street Fighter challenge. "CAN YOU BEAT OUR CPU AT THE DREADED LEVEL 9?!"

I hope they keep this level of challenge in the game proper as its so much fun to finally defeat it, and this AI is the only one I've actually learned combos from.

They could go even 1 step further and make a self learning algorithms that grows along with as it learns from your playstyle and corrects ots mistakes. Making it nigh impossible to beat. Would be fun tbh

Capcom really inspire with SNK now to make the Lv8 CPU like a SNK Boss that read your imputs and execute the most damaging combos. and with 5 Stars is basically fatality with one confirm.
