A complete overview of the LS. Next month will mark 10 years of ownership, and I can say this has been a really good first car to drive and to learn how to work on cars in general.

Heres an Old Lincoln LS Trick ,Most people don’t Know.. If you hold the key fob and hold down the blue for 5 seconds the windows and sunroof will all Open… to put it back up you have to put the key in the door and turn to the right for a few seconds..

Awesome video man. I just picked up an 03 v8 from my brother with only 71k miles. I'm used to working on Chevy trucks but honestly this thing has been just as easy to work on so far. I expected far worse for it basically being a Jaguar haha

Get the front lower balljoints replaced as soon as possible, I had one of mine just literally break in half while driving, luckily I was just making a turn in a parking lot at very slow speeds. The harders part of the job was pressing out the old ball joint... I read somewhere that this is a common flaw with this car...

All good man. I can’t really remember. I bought the car at 103k and I have 194k now so in between those miles. I know it’s a big range but I think there’s a lot of factors from the car’s condition, location, how it’s been driven, etc

Everything is possible, atleast the engine mounts appeart to be on the same spot, however it is a BIG job. The bellhousing on the 6cyl transmision is different than the one on the 8cyl. So you will need both engine and trans. Likely also gonna need a new diff as they use different gear ratios depending on the engine, might not be needed I haven't really checked. You'll also need ECU and wiring harness, essentially you need a whole crashed ls donor car💀. Even though the actual work itself is not too hard I wouldnt do all that. Way to much work for little gain. Its still not gonna be a "quick car" even with the 03+ v8. You're better off with the v6, its a much better platform if you want to sink some money into it. The possibilities are literally endless, there are no "real performance upgrades" for the v8 at all literally. With the v6 you have everything you can think of, but it gets expensive pretty quick. Everything you can think of is available, forged internals, stronger valvetrain, individual throtlebodies, Headers ( this are not plug and play and last time I checked the company wanted $800 plus shipping from the UK, nothing is cheap, and that won't even be plug and play as its not explicitly meant for the LS but it'll still bolt up to the heads fine and you'll just need a shop to connect it to the rest of the exhuast, but like I said at that price you're better off buying the flange for about $50 someone still sells it online and make custom headers, Everything else is also mad expensive, pretty sure itv's were like 2k and you will also need custom ecu to run that, clutch is also available and adapter plate to bolt up to stock mx5 trans... For the price of every single mod I've listed all said and done you could very well have bought a 911 gt3rs instead...
