Nonsense! They know how to create games, but mobile ones! They famously transferred Bully: Scholarship Edition, and almost all the classic parts of GTA from different platforms, along with the first part of Max Payne! They only develop mobile ports of games, and in general they only develop mobile games. They originally planned to release a re-release of the GTA trilogy - EXCLUSIVELY only for smartphones, but Rockstar Games also loves the hype, and when those guys were almost ready to introduce a mobile exclusive re-release of the GTA trilogy, representatives of Rockstar Games came to them and told them to release this re-release on those platforms first, with which they had never worked before, on which they had never released games, for obvious reasons, except for games for smartphones, they did not release anything else, and what came out was what came out! I don't know what Rockstar Games expected when they entrusted other platforms to developers who only develop mobile games. This is where Rockstar Games made a total mistake!

Remember that Rockstar tried to take down the compatibility patch and SA DirectX 3.0 even though they were completely harmless Oh but they announced GTA 6 so it's all forgiven

@@mihai2174 Apparently they don't care much about old games or game support. But all their new games were released at the highest level. GTA 5 and RDR 2 are some of the best games of their time. It's too early to give up on them until a new game comes out. Now, if GTA6 is just as mediocre, although it was made by Rockstar themselves, then it will be possible to draw conclusions about the entire company

@@wilgsor9939 yes, we can say rockstar is a company that seeks to get as much money as they can, like every other company why relaunch gta 5 a million times ? cause they can put the "upgrade" for full price, while not investing much why relaunch gta definitive edition ? cause they can charge the "upgrades" full price while not investing much(easy cash grab)..they don't care if 100k people buy it or if 5k buy it, they still make something out of this while investing very little with rdr2 and more importantly, gta 6 they can't give the "definitive edition treatment" because they want the number of people buying the game to be as high as it can and that won't happen if only 5k people buy the game, that can only happen if millions buy it..and how can you get millions to buy it ? ( you give them details, graphics, gameplay, story, etc) so you can please as manny as you can in short, they have to invest a bit, to get a huge pile of money and i don't blame them, it is not their fault you buy the " definitive edition" for full price, not their fault for you buying again gta5 for full price :)..it is the consumers fault for not being smarter

Actually in 1:05 cj in the og edition didn’t have any issues with drinking from soda machines except one bug That is cj drink the soda can flipped so og cj have one problem while drinking soda is that he drinks soda from the bottom

I fail to see how the trilogy is going to be worth it or better than the OG versions even if they completely fix it.

Same here dude! I had also thought of downloading this "un-definitive" edition of the trilogy because I wanted to re-visit my old memories of the original trilogy which I had completed when I was very young. I knew about the bugs but I thought that mods could fix most of it but seeing this video I think its better to not waste 30gb of my space as the huge amount of bugs still remaining after 2 years of its release is straight-up horrific!! Rockstar is known for bringing bangers into the gaming industry but this reduced their expectations in-front of me. Lets hope GTA VI rebuilds this and revolutionizes the gaming industry just like how the other GTA''s did (not this one).

Some of the unfixed issues in this video have been fixed in the iOS and Android ports that just came out. God knows if we'll ever get those fixes in the PC or console versions.

I think that's okay. Personally, I started with GTA Vice City then went on to play San Andreas, as well as GTA VCS and LCS (The console-only versions)

The new Netflix mobile version of DE is actually pretty good. Still got some new bugs that weren't there previously, but overall much more pleasant experience than the release version! I Especially like the new lighting engine!

Even GTA Liberty and Vice City Stories digitally remastered and improved for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S/X and PS5 makes this greater than the PS2 versions. Even a horse race bet locations for both Liberty and Vice City Stories easier reaching 1 billion dollars GTA San Andreas already did. The original Grand Theft Auto (1997), GTA London 1961 and 1969 (1999), and GTA 2 all digitally remastered and improved updates from the PC version must happen later in life

I'll tell you the problem. Back then, you HAD to release quality, fully developed games on the older consoles. There were basically no updates until a later disc was released (online-supported games were the exception at the time). Now, developers can get away with releasing unfinished projects because they can update them throughout their lifespan until they're eventually unsupported. Why work hard when you can hype up the game, get thousands of preorders, and release something unfinished that you can slowly fix throughout the current-gen consoles? It's literally in their best interest to practice these poor practices.

@frankgrimes7388 Every game has bugs, of course. However, do you see what's going on with modern games, lack of effort, and releasing unfinished products? Compare games released back then and now, and it's obvious. San andreas ps2 had three disc releases. The new definitive edition has bugs that weren't even present in the original, but it is still not fixed after years. Now you can get away with releasing broken and buggy content, then update them over a few years. Look at Cyberpunk 2077 at release and now years later. It's obvious that quality control isn't where it used to, and I think it's due to the ability to create updates along the life of the game that will eventually be unsupported.

It’s too early, we need to wait for that global patch that should be released with the mobile version, and which should fix all the bugs, and then you can buy, they say such a patch, with the promised mobile version, should be released in early next year. Well, that's what they say (People).

Is it only me or someone else? I don’t even feel like purchasing this games definitive from the time it came out. I feel like the only good thing they were able to do was the trailers of the trilogy were actually good 💀😂 rest I feel like playing the old ones, I tried having gta sanandreas by inserting a of disc into external disc drive to my gaming pc, but it seemed like the quality was poor and somehow the resolution was glitching out

i could probably look past all the stupid forgotten features or "glitches" that didn't exist in the original. But they absolutely butchered the graphics. I didn't know you could make a ps2 game look worse.
