Thanks for the video. Being Belgian, I have often felt Delvaux deserves more attention. I own two of their bags, both preloved and the quality is exceptional. One little remark: I don't know why Americans tend to mispronounce the name as "Delveu". It's Delv"oh".

I love my Delvaux! The service I received at the New York location was wonderful. I got the Tempete PM in black with gold hardware, it's beautiful.

I love the quality of Delvaux, and their boutiques are enjoyable to shop. I struggle to find a style that suits my aesthetic though. I have been keeping my eye out for something that works as well for me as my Hermes items.

I’m guessing it is because no matter how quality a leather work item is…… if you are charging many thousands for it… it far exceeds the material cost/Labour cost. I really don’t understand why they (all fashion houses) Do this to the consumer or why as consumers we allow it. If it was a piece of art that is one of a kind like the Mona Lisa i wld understand…. However it is more like craftsman working on something with a template which i compare to having a house built. You don’t pay 40 times the actual cost of a house no matter how beautiful.

If only the Brilliant doesn't have that buckle lock it would have been a really good bag. The tendency for the leather that goes in and out of the buckle is to crack and it is not something that I like personally. Which is the same reason why I like the standard Hermes Kelly than the rare Hermes Kelly Flat. So I lean towards the Tempete.

You don't actually have to use the buckle to fasten the bag. There's a hidden mechanism behind it which makes it a lot more seamless to use 🫶

Je viens de faire un écart à ma collection Delvaux, je me suis offerte 1 Kelly 28 Gold retourne, 3 Twilly, 1 Rodeo, une montre H brillant aux heures et deux bracelets en plus pour la montre, j’espère qu’ils ne vont pas se disputés dans l’armoire 😂. Hi, today I went to see the tempete in PM size. Being biased I compared it to hermes. I don't think the piping of the bag is done extremely nice. The flap of the bag I saw on display was also crooked. The bag is also extremely heavy for such a small bag. Do I think its an attractive bag? Extremely. Is the workmanship the same as hermes, I would say no. I like the strong magnetic closure of the bag. The kelly was a pain in the ass. If I were to buy this bag, I will be very careful to select a good one. Crooked flaps are nono.

And not Brillant the English way,but Brilliàn (French way, n barely pronounced). Please do not hold this against me as I love your vlogs, and do regularly Watch them. I have a Brilliant cognac medium size and love this timeless bag❤!
