THANK YOU for mentioning porn, this affects so many men (I know it affects women too but I can only speak from the perspective of men). Tyler having the courage to admit this very embarrassing thing might help someone else. I’d been using it for 15 years but am now two years sober from pornography. If you’re reading this, you too can quit!

I was shocked to hear him talk about. I’ve struggled with it for a while and I’ve been trying so hard to quit bc Ik I’ll become more confident and not waste my time with porn. I had always thought that someone like Tyler has always had this super strong connection with Christ and would never watch porn or anything like that. Just shocking to hear. But congrats to you though bc I’m trying to be sober from porn but I struggle sometimes and it might put me in a bad mood

@@fitchell_Hi man, I am in a bit of a struggle as well. I'm sure you could agree. It gets to a point when you can't tell if you are watching it willfully or not. You agree with that. You don't want to but all the sudden you just start watching it? If that makes sense

If it's unhealthy then it's a problem. If it's not, then there is no problem. Tyler sounds like he was a terrible husband and a terrible father. It's up to the family to forgive him. The use of faith and god is very unfortunate and a massive cop out - people need to take responsibility for themselves and use themselves and their relationship to start repairing, not some horrible evil entity in the sky that you think is going to fix it.
@kylerfarren5637

@@smccc18 Hi man, I am a Christian. So I will explain how I feel, It is a terrible thing to watch that stuff. God doesn't like it. I don't like it, it is a horrible thing that should not exist in general. Whenever I give in to it, I feel horrible. Cause I know that I went against God.
@smccc18
@smccc18 Жыл бұрын
@@kylerfarren5637 Please use "I think" when you make a statement about "god" because no one on the planet actually knows whether or not one exists or not. You have NO IDEA whether or not a diety likes or dislikes pornography. You can only say you think. Like I mentioned in my first response, if you have a healthy relationship with pornography, there is no reason to rid it of your life. It becomes a problem when you don't have that healthy relationship with it, like almost everything in the entire world. Please use common sense and not biblical nonsense. The world would be a far better place if people used logic and reason instead of faith.

The woman holds God's heart for relationship: "it isn't good for man to be alone." God had to say that to Adam, while Eve was built from that. No shame in a woman breaking and aching because her man isn't present in body or spirit. It's her call to struggle in that and call him back. Tyler, your act of humility to hear your wife is such a blessing and a victory.

I can relate to Bethany here. People commenting saying she’s ungrateful and shouldn’t complain because he’s making so much money.. 1. Marriage is intimacy. You can’t have that without time and effort. Work, no matter how meaningful, shouldn’t rob the marriage 2. Our human needs for love and relationship are more important than money. Her caring more about her husbands time than his income says this woman wants what is most valuable. She’s not shallow for that. Quite opposite 3. Unless you’ve been a mom with young children, you can’t understand how difficult that role is. Women at home NEED support, but our culture demeans woman for making this sacrifice. It’s not flashy. It’s hard and there’s little to no recognition for the labor of raising kiddos. I can’t imagine watching my husband do all these big flashy things while I’m in the trenches, serving our family in loneliness. 4. They endured child loss. Anyone who has experienced miscarriages, failed adoptions, infant mortality, etc would know how lonely and isolating that is in and of itself. Going through it alone without your partner.. Some of y’all need to grow in empathy and stop being so critical of people who are hurting. Walk a mile in that persons shoes and even THEN we are all different and deserve space to feel what we feel. ✌️

She’s mean and controlling. She’s jealous of his career. You can tell when you’re looking at a happy person… a naturally happy person. SHE is naturally unhappy. She literally states that she liked that he was the MOST adventurous person ever…and she wants him to stop being adventurous. I feel like women do this They want the exciting guy And then they want to cage him Why do that?? Go Marry a BORING GUY Marry a guy who works a boring job, is home every night, every weekend, and has no dreams. Why seek the exciting ambitious guy and then try to slow him down or control him? She tells him she’s tired of dude perfect. She broke him Deep down she’s happy about this Listen to the video SHE complains about HIM HE then also complains about HIMSELF He is trying to take ownership He is introspective He is humble He is willing to change She doesn’t own anything It’s all his fault And she is willing to PLACE BLAME I’m willing to bet you anything that the other guys (and their wives) KNOW that Tyler’s wife is a negative and naysaying person. This guy wasn’t successful because of her He was successful IN SPITE of her This is NOT support Feel free to disagree with me I would not be surprised if these two got divorced She seems to openly struggle with being joyful

Wow. Ive been watching DP for almost 10 years now and I have always looked up to these guys. For as long as ive watched DP, ive also have had a bad addiction to Porn. Hearing Tyler talk about his struggles with porn was shocking. I would never expect someone like him cause of his strong religious views to watch porn but hey no one is perfect. Seeing how vulnerable he was made me want to quit Porn as well. Thank you Tyler for sharing this as you have unknowingly changed my life. Im just glad that you and Bethany are doing well and that you all are still together, even after all the hard times. That true love right there.

It's crazy to see this, because like when you watch their documentary about like their first tour and how dude perfect formed and everything, you get the sense of the exact opposite. Like everything was all good to go and in that they even all talk about (including Ty) how close they are with God and their faith. you never would have guessed that wasn't always the case and about the struggles they were truly going through. Shows you can never truly know what happens behind closed doors. Glad to see they've been able to over come their struggles.

Bethany is being honest. She isn’t saying she’s absolutely right. She’s communicating how the ripple effects of dude perfects growth means he’s less present at home. Sure before covid and before kids, it was probably a lot easier. But things change. Families grow. Life gets more challenging. And expectations can change. If you think she’s being unappreciative or nagging, you don’t know how to handle when someone is being honest with their feelings. Work doesn’t come before family.

This will impact so many men. The courage and strength to be transparent and to open up to the world all the failings and sins is no easy fete. But so many, including myself, have gained encouragement and hope. This woman’s anger and resentment is what so many of us women grapple with. We dont want to be the woman who tears her house down, but we are so oppressed by our emotions we dont know how to get out from under them. Then Jesus! The same I can proclaim! Jesus saved my marriage!! He’s STILL saving it! Today is Thursday 10:45 in Ohio. I am praying for this bible study group. That God will do more amazing things! Amen 🙏

Wild to hear her complain so hard about a man who created a thriving business, and in her own words is an amazing father and husband when he’s home. You can’t be happy for him for what he’s created..? She was never happy with anything. Ungrateful, and jealous. And “not putting Christ first” give me a break Bethany 😂 if you’re ungrateful for what he’s done, then do what women do and leave

Jealous, unappreciative wives is what I got out of this. My husband isnt ever home because he’s off making millions, he’s so happy and I’m jealous of it, God is giving me all these babies that I’ve been praying for and I’m having to take care of them all by myself. So stop doing what you’re doing so I can be happy. You’re happy, I’m not and you throw God in the middle of it to manipulate the situation and guilt your husband. Same old song and dance. Me Me me me me….

I half agree, half disagree with you on this. I've listened to the first two parts of this very carefully because I've also seen the DP documentary and what was said of Bethany in that. So far, it checks out. However, I have to agree with Bethany on the fact Christ should always come first in their marriage and not DP. You can say that for anything in life. If Jesus isn't leading your life in everything you do, problems will surface later in life.

Agreed. If Tyler didn't have a successful job, she would 'feel' he was a poor provider. But when he provides, she is jealous of his job. Bethany is a good example of modern feminism. Petty, jealous, etc. Granted, Tyler was not being the leader he should have been. Maybe if he had been, Bethany wouldn't have been such a nag.

Wow. The fact that's what you got from this tells me you were looking for it. I'm a wife and a mother. I cannot imagine my husband working as much as they do. Being gone months on end when you have little children at home. Priorities are God, family, work. When that isn't the being followed, the family unit will fail. Resentment builds up. Guilt builds up. All the money in the world can't buy happiness.

If Tyler didn’t take advantage of the once in a life opportunities, I doubt they would be where they are today. Content creation takes up A LOT of your time. I bet she didn’t mind all that money coming in tho

Stop this! You don't even know her. Any reasonable human can listen to this and understand that the amount of time away from his family was on the extreme end and of course that's usually what it takes to make an extreme amount of money but it honestly sounds like she was just asking for a bit more balance. She obviously understood that him being home more would mean less money and she was happy with that compromise. For the sake of their marriage and for their children it was nothing but wise to ask him to slow down. There is no need to hate. Introspect and rather try to figure out why you feel the need to bring people who don't know you down.

Couldn’t agree more @Anthony1021 she liked adventure but wants to hold her man down. She wants security but wants to control his career. BS. He should quit, give the money away, and welcome her home to a Trailer and say, are you happy now? Of course she wouldn’t be happy. They want their cake and eat it too. She keeps saying it was about him. It’s his freaking career!!!! American women are all victims.

@@almerok she obviously doesn’t understand what it takes and the dedication needed to make a living off social media. It’s not a consistent income like a 9-5 job. He needs to invest SOO much of his time to make it work. She doesn’t understand that. Maybe don’t have 3 kids if you can’t handle it

They move into a massive new house and she still finds stuff to complain about. It shows that you can never please wmen. WOmen initiate 80% percent of all divorces. I think her attitude towards god is the perfect example of the prosperity gospel. Thinking "it's about time u did something god" is rly entitled and arrogant. God owes you nothing other than salvation when u die. That's it. He sits back and lets the world play out and doesnt interfere.

Kinda sounds like to me this poor guy has been manipulated by his wife. Dude is a multi millionaire no doubt and his wife is complaining about him not helping take care of the kids. Ok wife why don’t you go out there and start making some money. Stg people always trynna take someone with a bit of success down a peg. Even if they are family. Truly shameful jealous activity.

That is exactly what is going on. He is supporting his family and providing for them in ways that most people will only dream about. I hear her being sellfish and not thinking about how a divorce would affect the kids or Tyler. If she leaves him what is Tyler supposed to do? Start over with another wmen and start a whole new family? No if he gets divorced that "Christian model family" is taken from Tyler forever. What about the kids? I hear a lot of complaining an "me, me, me," but not thinking about others.

@@almerok - it’s not at all about not liking women. In fact it’s the opposite It’s how we men strive to PLEASE women to no end. Remember she chose him for the adventure? Maybe SHE should have chosen a boring person. But instead she wants the adventurous guy, and then wants him not to be adventurous??? And he’s earning a living, chasing his dream, and he sacrifices too by having to be away from his kids. She’s JEALOUS Period. And I do raise kids I work from home I bathe the kids I get them ready for school I run as many errands as I can I make dinner for my wife and bring it to her after the kids are in bed I’m adventurous too And I too have been stifled and made to feel I should set aside all my dreams I’ve made tons of money And she’s not happy So then I stay home and make less money and have more time And she’s now worried about security and retirement CAN’T WIN It’s a paradox There’s a always a reason to complain And This woman right here is a pro at it You can argue all you want I’m calling it like I see it And she’s got a happy, ambitious, incredible husband, father, provider….
