The Beautiful voice of Amira's soars to the heart. I am glad you like it. Her other two from this concert is The Lords Prayer and then I will Walk With God. I Will Walk With God is from the movie The Student Prince. Originally sung by the Great Mario Lanza. In this version of Amira's, she does a duet with an opera singer. Beautiful to the ear. Along with these do not hold back on her earlier pieces. Everything is top. Nice reaction.

not an operatic fan but I damn well love her voice and have seen many videos since her 9 yr old audition WOW hope she goes to Juliard this fall --- so far her aging from 9 hasn't hurt her !

Great reaction, Paul! We can feel your true admiration for Amira in every reaction.This is a spectacular gathering of rare talent. First, the choir, made up of experienced, dedicated, passionate and talented singers, is phenomenal and produces beautiful and transcendent harmonies. Second, the choir conductor, in the right-center with gray hair, is the acclaimed Christo Burger, who has participated in master classes at the Juilliard School of Music in New York, USA, and also at the Royal College of Music in London, UK. Third, the exceptional instrumentalists, selected from the Classics Symphonic Orchestra, who always play in the editions of Classics is Groot, in which Amira has participated since she was a child. Fourth, the refined and award-winning pianist Charl du Plessis, Steinway ambassador. He personally went to Germany to choose this Steinway Model C Piano. He also acts as music director for this concert. He played with Amira numerous times. Amira's rehearsals are basically just her and Charl du Plessis. And finally, Amira's heavenly voice, with its beautiful and unique tone. Amira, combining her prodigious intelligence with her firm determination, ease of learning, courage to apply, perfectionism and faith, continues her unavoidable path of becoming the greatest singer of all times.

She's only 17 here. She has already had wonderful success and will continue to amaze us for many decades to come. We are so fortunate to have witnessed her beginnings on Holland's Got Talent. I believe she lives in South Africa now.

So sang with the power of a very strong lyric soprano. Maybe I am wrong, but I do not think so. The Virgin of the Angels Covers me with her mantle, And protects me vigilantly Sacred angel of God. Contrary to non Dutch speakers the Dutch ``W`` is not said as a ``V``. Ask any Dutch speaker!

@@joepollard9476 I am Dutch . Amira pronounces the W in her surname as a W not as a V. Ask any Dutch speaker to say ``Volkswagen`` in Dutch then you may hear the difference.

@@delloso6205 . The earliest example of Amira's name being pronounced as V is in her original HGT audition when the leading Dutch panellist said it that way and asked Amira to confirm it, and she said "yes." There are also later examples.

@@joepollard9476 I would never teach a non Dutchie that the Dutch ``W`` is pronounced as a ``V`` Joe, because it isn`t. P.s. I`m retired now and used to teach Dutch to English speakers for a while. Initially they said they heard it as a V but after slowly letting them hear examples like ``WW wegenwacht ( road service) , VVV vreemdelingenverkeer (tourist office), Volkswagen, wachten (to wait), vachten (hides/skins) etc. `` the students began to understand the difference. It was a lot of fun though.Gr.
