Yeeesss lad, I can't get over it 😂 Just done the Special Circuit X race with a super modded Ford GT and in the process developed my favourite track car yet, absolutely mind blowing this game in VR. Shame you can't really show it well on KZfaq cause it'd blow people's minds.

The fact that GT1 in 1997 had a special unlock at the end of the game that allowed for 60fps on Special Stage, is still mindblowing.😊

Gran Turismo 4 was my childhood game! At times it was so stressful being a kid not being able to complete some of the licenses but I recently went back and played the game again and it was just so nostalgic for me! ❤And for that point alone Gran Turismo 4 is my favourite! Not only in the GT series but I’d easily say in my top ten of all time ❤

This is pretty much my story but for Gran Turismo 3, just 98%ed it and I think the last 2% is gold licences? Yeah, I was never interested in doing those but I was now good enough to beat the whole gran turismo mode with all gold trophies in every single race, then I done Arcade mode for dessert

@@olivermikolajuk4631 maybe! More-so those were the ones that fixed and expanded upon the game engines for 1, 3 and 5. They had all the trial and error of those games that came before them on each console generation, allowing them to get it perfect for 2, 4 and 6.

I loved how we would save up money to buy a new exhaust, weight reduction & other tuning. You could feel your car getting lighter & faster in the older games which felt like real progression!

GT6 was the worst. Best track collection by far but my god was career mode lazy as hell. I ended finding greater fun online which set the stage for me in GTS. GT5 was ambitious, it had alot of potential but I'm the end died what seemed and untimely death. Especially becuase the next chapter was such a let down. GT5 offered alot of new mediums to the car culture increase life like the Nurb 24hour documentary(the start fo my burden addiction) Gt channel, with BMI episodes. All you can watch from your GT5 disc. It fealt PD were trying to break that virtual divide. That this was a game that truly celebrated cars cand racing. Cockpit view was just what I needed and imo there was no other games that had such detailed interiors at the time. The immersion was unreal, grid sizes increased. GT5 was ultimate driving fun imo.

@@IIGrayfoxII I know. If GT7 put as much TLC into it's career mode as did GT Sport into the online activities it would be fantastic. It's online section isn't up to standard either. I can't enjoy Lobbies anymore due to the instability and neglected QOL areas. Which is a shame as lobbies house my favourite online activities. GT7 dropped the ball in both areas this time. However it was the shift from GT6 to GTS that taught me to not expect anything from career mode anymore, nothing interesting at least. I've been playing aince GT2 and one gets tired of the same reoccuring themes. Therefore was not suprised how boring career mode is in GT7. That half baked single player mode on GT sport should of told everyone what they needed to know. PD essentially said "Here's all those events that you enjoyed in passed games". What the GT career mode needs, isn't nostalgia but innovation.(innovation that the series was known for) Sure they can make more events on different tracks, the experience still gonna be trash. I never cared about the collection side of GT7 either. Infact learning about myself, that while your garage tends to build in GT games, I don't enjoy collecting cars as much as I do driving my favourites. So yet another untouched portion of the single player aspect of the game for me. But once again it was blunder of GT6 that armed and prepared me for this, to the point where future iterations on that same band wagon don't phase me as I no longer look towards career modes for substance. This is why GT6 takes the highlight in dsappointment.

@@kyshro GT7 is a fucking mistake. Forza horizon, the one in europe looks extremely realistic to the point where I often confuse a picture of it for being real, also gives a shit about adding enjoyable automobiles that Grand Turismo just recycled the concept of with more shittier models. I also despise everything about the driving style in Grand Turismo 7, I'm sorry, cars don't just keep sliding while I have the brakes down all the way, it isn't fuckin 10,000 pounds of metal. Especially the old cars, it's like they have to emphasize how good cars are today by making the turning abysmal on purpose in old cars. I've raced a 1954 Mercury with Bias Plys, completely stock, and it was honestly a breeze. Last V8 year.

I just started playing Gran Turismo sport, all I can say is it’s most definitely like Forza Motorsport 7 but the UI and music and photo mode are just perfect, I wish I could get GT7

the shadows they changed, also settings inside the game affect the quality for example having a bad contrast and brightness will make it look bad

GT1 was the game for which I bought the PS1. Then GT2 came out. I still remember when I bought it and tried for the first time. it had a great number of JDM cars to tune up. With my friends we loved to use small cars against racing beasts - and still manage to win races. Lots, lots of fun!

I worked at a radio station around 2014 or 15. Somebody had left a PS3 in one of the storage closets for a long time and it went up for grabs. I’m not a PlayStation guy, but I got the PS3 the only game I could fit on it was Gran Turismo six that game got me sim racing.

I remember the first time i got a sim racing rig. Around the time gt5 came out. My dad got it for me as a christmas present. Lord, was i squealing all over the place. I was so happy i refused to sleep. I often slept on the little chair my dad got me for the rig because of how afdicted i was to sim racing. As a young kid in nigeria, that was heaven for me (i still aim on getting to the real heaven, though 😅). I was 4 years old at the time. Wear and tear got to it as expected, and i had to let it go after almost 8 years of continuous use. Unfortunately, time hasnt been so good, and i haven't been able to get another one. But Boy, do i miss those days.

GT7 Sport in VR is literally bad for ones heart. Its mean, has blindspots, is lifesize and comes at you fast. Its nuts.

I've been here since the start. 1, 2 & 3 are my childhood. 7 continues to impress me with its engine and physics. Just needs to get back its soul and keep the classic cars alive and its there.
