I’ve met Ian a few times and he knows I’m Welsh. This is the first time I’ve heard him say that he’s part Welsh. I’ve always loved the man, but now I love him even more (if that’s logically possible). I love the “occupying force” quip. Brilliant.

Good interview. However, Ian, Jimi Hendrix died in September 1970, not in 1969.

Ian is Ian, complex yes, odd? I don't think so...he is who he is, no pretentions, deep and humble ❤ and a beautiful human being inside and out 😍

@@sandrafisherhayes3219 He's dark and moody for a rocker. Contrast him with Marq Torien from the Bulletboys who still says he's in it to rock and party down. Totally different dudes.

Sorry, can't really listen to this again! This is a terrible recording! Too much music in the background! Can barely hear what Ian is saying and this interviewer is constantly interrupting Ian, very rude! Let the man speak for heaven's sake 🙄 I can listen to their music any time (have all of their albums,particularly the early ones, which I love!)...talk to Ian first then play an extract from their songs 🎵 very distracting...
