As a top 2-10k f2p player who loves the game but doesn't have the funds to invest in it, my enjoyment depends a lot on how accessible the new cards are and how good my 2 decks are on ladder because they are all i can play. A few seasons ago I got my best finish at top 2.4k, but when the dutchess came out both of my decks got smoked, and i couldn't get my dutchess to lvl 15, so i just suffered with my princess tower for like 3 seasons didnt even get top 10k once 😭 i was not enjoying it

I was a semi pro player got top 50 ion the world long time played crl vs other countries, I lost my passion since they decided to delete top ladder accounts including me and I decided to make a new account after but when the champions came up I started to fall apart , and evos was the end of me , I was playing miner wb and hog cycle decks when Lucas was known with it. Sorry guys I lost my passion to the game , don't get me wrong cuz I think clash Royale still better than most games I play but you lost the passion to the game , you're not happy when you see can update .

On top of forcing you to spend money to be competitive. It wouldn't be *as* big of an issue if they weren't obviously, deliberately, making these new cards extremely overpowered. There is zero reason to keep the dagger duchess or little prince gamebreaking for months. They used to emergency nerf stuff like that quite quickly. Like the old exe, witch, egolem situations. And sometimes that meant they killed the cards. Which is better than introducing game breaking stuff for months. The only logical reason is just greed. They sidestep the competitive integrity of the game, in order to force people to spend to remain competitive. It's such a dirty and morally bankrupt tactic. And they're gonna do it again.

You're preaching to the choir on the pay-to-win stuff. It's been like that since clash of clans came out. I just don't have much faith that supercell will ever intend on making a game without predatory monetization. The games are fun, but it really just sours the taste when you hit an upgrade wall and can't progress at the same speed without spending.

ever since champions have arrived in 2021 cr is not free to play. when there was legendary but with no tokens it took a year to upgrade a legendary. in 2023 they also banned emulators because of programmable loops. that also has taken ftp players from the game.

I couldn't really even understand the new cards mechanics. I have zero will to invest more money into the game. I have lvl 14 at least on all cards. I thought it will allow me to freely experience with different decks but there is no limit to Supercell greed. I don't see anyone trying to max out 140 or so cards. They should let you play whatever you want as long as you pay a season pass. Otherwise it's just discourages players.
