The thing is even Ian, one of the best players in the game has a little bit hard time against overleved players just speaks how unfair it is. I would have lost every game Ian played if that was me. I always wanted to go top ladder but without spending money you can't go anywhere.

I recommend getting the battle pass to max out cards, if you’re willing to spend a little money, and you want to stick with a deck and max it out. Also, the card masteries give so much gold, so do as many as you can, and save up on wild cards, book or cards, and book of books. Also, you should try and get as many wins in global tourneys as you can, because those give pretty good rewards. I maxed out my logbait deck in several months using all of the tips I mentioned, including battle passes.

as a player from the mid ladder, yes, I keep finding maxed player just after I surpass 5300 or so. and it is kinda annoying cause I do not have some good interaction, while they can oneshot my musk, my firecraker etc etc. beside that, I play hog and is very annoying cause almost everyone has MK and lots of player have pekka or mini pekka or E barbs.

Yep going into a match, you know you'll either get goblin barrel, ebarbs, mk or some overleveled card that basically has infinite hp, so fun

Thank you so much for showing how much value lightning has, I have been running the original hog EQ, but I have been struggling against witches and wizards, so this helps a lot! (I have an overleveled valk so I don’t have to worry about the megaknights)

What ill try to do is wait for wizard or witch to get closer while i bring the mk to the middle then place valk on top of wizard or witch then mk should come back may jump on valk but dont worry the firecracker does so much work plus you still got hog to distract and your hog rider could get a hit or die but its better then level mk or anything touch your tower

I LOVED this video Ian! You inspired me to play hog-eq cycle and I am at 5100 and seeing the same exact stuff every day! I love the outplay potential of hog cycle and will have to try the lightning variation. I know I just have to keep grinding to get my cards leveled up and then I will have a better chance against maxed wizards and MK :) My cards are almost the same level as yours in this video

I’d love to see some 6k- 6.1k videos. It’s a very different section of mid ladder. Everyone is maxed and it’s a combo of either weird midladder decks or classic decks like log bait or 2.6.

yeah i use classic pekka bridgespam except i use poison instead of fireball. without the regular royal ghost and bandit interactions in that deck it makes it so hard to even defend something like valkyrie

I struggle with the toxic decks mid ladder. Always mega knight n valk. I play casual so i use golem witch( i miss night witch b 4 nerf) maybe ill switch out poison for lightning. Good vid 👍

Hey Ian! What should I do if my enemy has a lot of counters in his deck for hog such as mk, ebarbs and skarmy. When is the best time to attack?

Thats easy. You have the most powerful cards against all of these. For mk you will definitely have to use ur 1 elexir cards to direct his jump away from you tower untill you have valk or tesla in cycle. That will end him. And if you are capable of activating king Tower then just killed that mk with 2 elixir. Qnd as for the skarmy just predict it with log or eq. And for the ebarbs use tesla 3 spaces from river in middle. And u can use ice with skeletons and that is easy counter. Doing that perfectly a couple of times you will end up having good defense against him with alot of elixir advantage thus out cycling him. One more thing DO NOT SEND your hog when you know he has enough elixir for ebarbs or mk. Cuz you just screwed ur self. One more thing the more expensive cards in his deck the easier for you to win. Just remember tesla is ur key to win. Either with valk or iceskellies.

Question, what to do if they force the level difference. Eg. lvl 14 e barbs 13 MK 12 balloon, 14 gob barrel, 11 valk 13 wiz 12 fire ball 9 clone. So your level 11 and 12 deck just destroys you. This is like the basic mid ladder deck

Been stuck in serenity for a while luckily I run pekka loon freeze so I can kinda feel better even if it’s toxic lol still get blasted by level 14 mk or ebarbs I’m no longer stuck in serenity pushed for like 4 hours
