The new Ibanez PH Mini Phaser is a small but powerful, all analog phase shifting pedal, perfect for if space is tight on your pedal board. Part of Ibanez's best selling made in Japan series of pedals, it offer a choice of 4 or 6 stage phasing (6 stage being a little more dramatic and intense sounding) with controls for the rate and depth of the effect, as well as a feedback control.
This all means that it capable of producing anything from subtle, vintage style phasing, through fast and wobbly rotary speaker type effects, right up to crazy sounding swooshing phase sweeps. Other features include a tough metal housing, true bypass switching and a 9v power supply input.

I'm so glad people started putting "depth" or "width" on phase shifters nowadays, plus the feedback. This way you don't have to buy and sell ten just to find one you like. Great pedal and a fine job showing it, thanks.

I like this better than all the MXR mini phasers. Better clarity with the dry signal. This does better univibe, Leslie, and chorus facsimiles.

Im not a big user of phasers, but i wanted a small one to put on my board for the odd EVH tune or Petrucci type riff. Naturally almost opted for the phase 90 like everyone else, i actually think this pedal is criminally underrated in comparison, strong Japanese build, decent price if you look around and it cuts through the mix nicely for metal riffs and solos. It's quickly making its way onto my board even if it is just for a few solos, i'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants something a bit different to a phase 90 without going into the silly 180 quid phaser territory.

I want a phaser in my pedalboard, and watching videos of electro harmonix bad stone, small stone, phase 45/90/95, and other pedals... i don't like no one :/ Then i remember the little ibanez, and it habe that i want: depht control🙌 it's low cost, and sound pretty good. The other pedal that i like the sound is the phase 100, but i don't want to sell one eye to pay it🤣🤣🤣 and the boss phase shifter... I can't find it in Chile :( Sorry for my english😅😅

@@diegoenicolas Your English is fine, i can totally understand you. I had exactly the same problem, i love the phase 90 sound, but too me most phasers try and replicate that sound. The Ibanez is my favourite phaser for mixing with heavier overdive and is good build quality for a mini sized pedal, if you can pick the Ibanez up cheap id recommend it tbh.

Cool pedal for "talking" effect, but I wish it had a much slower minimum speed for dreamy swooshes

Hello there! Amazing demo... can someone please give opinion on how does this compare with the MOOER NINETY ORANGE? I am just quite attracted to the toggle switch between Modern and Vintage on the Mooer.. But the PHMINI sounds fantastic. Please comment and guide. Thanks!

I've read that this boosts the signal too much, is this true?

it definitely does, and strumming slightly harder than normal starts to make the sound break up while the phaser is engaged. or maybe thats just my amp

What is the polarity requirement of this pedal? Center positive or negative? Does this have any specific ampere range of operating? Is 500-600 mA fine for this?
