I have the old 450 M with the Infinity Pups. Love the guitar, not the sound. I will probably change the pups some day. It is also a bit heavy on my neck. It's neck is perfect. I got it with the frets sticking out like concertina wire and playing it was like running your hand over a cheese grater. After some fret work and a few months of playing, it is the best neck I have. I wish it sounded as good as my iron label with the EMG's though. The necks are technically the same, but the 450 feels better than th RGIX 20 feqm. Gotta love those names.
@RockFactoryMusica4 жыл бұрын
Yes the guitar have the stock pick up config. It is a very versatile guitar to play any style. The main difference with the 421 series is the bridge and the types of woods. It was recorded trough a Kemper profiler with a Mesa Mark IV profile. It is a very good value for money guitar, with good finishes and good sound. With a change of pickups it would improve a lot. I recommend it without a doubt. Thanks for watching.

I love this sound test solo so much. Great feeling for the sound. Great melodie. But I have a question about the first solo part. I mean I hear three guitars (fifth and octave higher) or was it made by a harmonizer effect?
@RockFactoryMusica Жыл бұрын
Thanks! There are 3 guitar tracks, a rhythm guitar playing the chords and 2 harmonized lead guitars. I always record all tracks without using harmonizing effects.

Hey guys, I want to ask for your opinion... would you recommend this guitar over ESP LTD MH-103QM? I'm planning to get a new guitar for Christmas~

Of course, this guitar is better than the LTD. The bridge is much better and the pickups are so good!

@@billberil3399 Hello!. I have the RG370 and the LTD MH203QM. They are similar and different from each other. It is a personal choice. 1. As the RG Body Is Ash Wood made, is a heavy guitar if you are going to play in a standing position. But confortable in a sitting because of the angles and edges of the RG Body. The guitar feels strong, well built. Does not feel like a cheap Toy. 2. The top is awesome. 3. The pickups are goods, especially with high output. 4. The weakest Point of the RG is the freatboard. It feels like was not well finished. 5. The bridge is an Edge Zero Point 2. Can be easily adjust without removing the back cover. 6. The LTD has a rounded body, not flat like the RG. The quilted blue top is also beautiful. The pickups are the weakest point. Especially the middle pickup. 7. The neck is not as thin as the wizard III. But is ok. It Is like a baseball bat. Wider. However, the freatboard edge has a white binding. The freatboard ending is more premium. The frets are extra jumbo. Regards.

Japanese are always better. They have a better bridge and better pickups. If you find a RG550 from the 90s at a good price, buy it.

The Trs bridge is bad but the 470 and 370 Japanese are good guitars. Ideally they would have the Edge bridge, but they are better built than the new Rg made in Indonesia.

It is certainly a good guitar for any distorted style. Maybe a pickup change would be interesting to improve the sound but even with the stock pickups it's a good choice.

Does it get out of tune fast, even when you play with whammy bar?
@RockFactoryMusica4 жыл бұрын
No, it holds the tuning very well even if you use the whammy bar thanks to the 4 springs of the bridge, it is a very good bridge for that price.

Ash is a good wood for a Tele and generally each piece of ash lumber does not sound quite the same, what makes it hard to define a certain sound. This one heard here is a little bit too bright and lacks a foundation. Thats alle fine, as long as Ibanez would communicate this distinctive features and not just sell the next middle class RG.
@dazzastar685 жыл бұрын
Its an electric, purely pickup driven. Simple test - get the loudest truck horn and blast it at the pickups - still no sound will be heard because pickups are not microphones! Wood types in bodies is for acoustics my good fellow. Oops - hope I haven't started something off here lol.
@1970borntorun4 жыл бұрын
Dude, you have NO clue what you're talking about. Number one, Ash is a great tone wood in that it sustains extremely well, is full and tight on bottom end, and has a clear, extended top-end. But the second (obvious) thing you and 94% of ALL people on KZfaq get wrong is that you cannot truly judge "how something sounds" just by a video on KZfaq!

The tremolo is there just for fun ????

Isn't it a bit too bright?
@andreil12346 жыл бұрын
Well it's easier to darken the sound a bit than to brighten it up where it's too dark. Yeah, it's a bit thin and fizzy, but I'd say not in a bad way. At least it has decent clarity.

I shoulda known this was too good to be true! The tones were all cheap and plastic sounding with no punch at all. The rhythm was entirely lost in the mix. It was pretty shabby, but by Ibanez's standards? It's an abomination! Good, perhaps, for 13 year olds who are basically beginners but get a lot of value from "chugging" and dive bombing on their solid states in their bedrooms. 🎸🎸🎸 */10*

Nothing wrong with getting a lot of value from chugging and diving bombing on a solid state in ones Bedroom. I'm 51 and still happily doing it after a few Rumbos.
@phalanger1 Жыл бұрын
lol found the gear elitist who will judge a guitar from a recording with no reference to compare to. Those pickups could get a nice upgrade down the line if a '13yo beginner' feels the need for different/better tone at some point.
