I just ordered this bass! I am absolute beginner and it will be my first ever bass - I decided on it because I had a feeling it will allow me to try out different styles. I am looking forward to having it in my hands 😊

I have recommended this bass to two of my students already. They are delighted with it. For the money it's hard to beat. I prefer the mint green though :)

Gear value for the money! Looking forward to putting out the full review. Yeah the mint is a game changer on this one 🙌

@@JonnyDibble could you do a review of one of the yamaha BB basses? They seem quite cool. For some reason I didn't get a notification for this video 🤔

When I first saw that model about a month ago I kind of liked but seeing it in that finish, oh man, I kind of want one and the price is right

Mad for the money considering you get an active preamp!

The sunburst looks great on the Talman. Darker brown pickguard would look sick on this. Mint green or mint yellow too.

Got dat mint green on there now 👌

Kind of disappointed Ibanez axed the Talman guitar lineup, incredibly aesthetically pleasing design. I had a TMB100 walnut brown but it was incredibly defective(truss rod maxed out, bridge screws stripped) very spotty quality control. Anyways, have you ever looked into the G&L Tribute series, specifically the JB and Kiloton very affordable basses not many reviews on KZfaq, thought you might be interested. Cheers, on the new bass!
@JonnyDibble4 жыл бұрын
Yeah its a cool Fender alternative that isn't a straight up copy! Mine is okay quality control wise but I do have things to say about this bass. I've considered buying one of the guitars before but never looked at the tribute basses! Ill keep an eye out. Cheers!

I've got the Tmb 310 turquoise sparkle,I love it,it's got a P,double j setup, I can make it sound like any bass tone out there,put it in the bridge pickup both coils it sounds like a music man,flip the switch to the single closest to the bridge you got Jaco style jazz tones,blend in some of the front p pickup and mess with the treble a bit you got your jazz,all front Pbass,,I did have a bitch if a time getting the pots replaced,Ibanez don't make them anymore,or something like that,it took 3 months for Ibanez to build a set and send them to my area of the world,they got preamps built right onto the pot,yea other than that I absolutely love my Talman👍🤘

Awesome 😍 That Talman is so cool, not heard that bridge humbucker before though! I had the TMB600 with Nordstrand pickups which was nice. Going to mod this TMB100, wasn't too impressed with the preamp in my full review! Thanks for checking out the video man 😊
@aarondavis43413 жыл бұрын
@@JonnyDibble yea man the Talman tmb310 was part of the first maybe second run when they brought the Tmb bass out, it has what looks like 2 jazz pickups stuffed at the bridge, there's be a switch as I said before,but they where the highest priced Talman bass in the standard line before going to the Prestige line,they came in silver sparkle, turquoise sparkle,and I've recently learned a really cool gold sparkle, google it or get one,I call it my swiss army bass, it's mahogany body jatoba fretboard,🤘🤘

Try a vintage v74 fretless you will love that bass and it s a ,,Jaco Signature “ I really enjoy your videos !!

Dammmmnnnn Jonny. How are you going to figure out how to divide your practice time up between your basses lmao. At this rate you'll have on for each day of the month within the year

Getting there! 😅 haha nah I only have 4 currently. Most of the time I sell on the basses after demoing (only way I can afford to keep doing this at the moment!)

And IF you can find a 310 TMB you get a NICE gold metal flake or a nice turquoise green metal flake paint and a double j at the bridge and p at the neck config ...NO CND p/u like the TMB 500,505 or the 600 model that has neck binding and block inlays !!!!!...
@JonnyDibble4 жыл бұрын
Would love to try the TMB2000. The block inlays and blue finish 🔥🔥🔥

Hi, do you recomend me this bass to start playing?
@JonnyDibble3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Yeah I'd say its a good started bass! The foundations are there to turn into a great bass. The active preamp isn't great, but it's absolutely usable for a beginner 😁

You NEED to get your hands on a 310 TMB ..or a 505 with a roasted maple neck and board...in inca silver paint and it has Carey Nordstrand designed p/j p/u config.....for 549.00 US

That silver roasted maple combo is SO nice. I had the TMB600 for a bit, the nordstrands were really nice but I didnt gel with the bass itself
