My thoughts about this resort:
Check-in experience: Great. It was quick and easy. We felt welcomed.
Rooms: Very clean and nicely appointed
Staff: super-friendly and perfectly bilingual English-Spanish
Beach: Very nice! There is a small beach-cleaning tax to pay at check-out.
Pools: Great, although water was cold in December.
Night shows and entertainment: Excellent
Restaurants: Excellent
Buffet: Excellent
Resort grounds: Impeccable
Overall attention to detail: Excellent
Note: Weather was not so good at the end of December. With few exemptions, it was mostly cloudy, windy and rainy when we went. Nothing to do with this resort. They still deserve their 5 stars!

Muy hermoso hotel, estuve muy satisfecho en mi estadía. Súper la comida. Las actividades son lo máximo. El personal te trata muy bien. Te sientes querido. La alberca es hermosa y se presta para hacer las mejores fotos.

A mediados de Enero estuve en Cancún en el Iberostar 5* y realmente es A1... Excelente servicio y sus instalaciones de primera... Sí van tengan en cuenta por lo menos pasar 2 días específicos para disfrutar ÚNICAMENTE de las instalaciones del hotel... Yo diría 7 días es lo ideal para hacer diferentes Tours y disfrutar del hotel... Espero regresar pronto

Yo estuve en ese hotel cuando era el Hilton y está padrísimo! Este año pretendo regresar en octubre o noviembre en lo que yo llamo "Mi Viaje del Fin del Mundo" porque no sé si vuelva a viajar porque este mundo al paso que va, no sé a dónde vamos a parar... qué felices éramos antes de que nos quisieran exterminar con la plandemia, el coronatimo, la veneno-vacuna; cuando nos juntábamos para bailar o hacer ejercicio o festejra un gol de nuestro equipo... qué tiempos tan felices que se empeñan en robarnos.

es triste que retiraran muchas de esas actividades el 24 de febrero por el covid-19 ojalá está pandemia acabe y podamos volver a disfrutar de todas esas actividades 🙁

Tuve la oportunidad de ir a finales de agosto y puedo decir que es recomendable. Siguen todas las medidas de seguridad; sanitizan tu cuarto todos los días y tiene un costo de $27 pesosxnoche si mal no recuerdo y te los cobran cuando vas a hacer checkout. Todos son muy amables y muy atentos te invitaban a participar en los juegos que hacían en la alberca y siempre se aseguraban de que no te faltará nada. En cuanto a comida, al buffet se entraba con cubrebocas y ellos te servían lo que quisieras. Se me hizo bastante normal el buffet; aveces para la cena hacían temática de comida mexicana, asiática, italiana etc. El servicio al cuarto hay muy pocas opciones para escoger y sinceramente no era lo mejor, he ido a otros hoteles con mejor servicio. Fui al restaurante de cortes de carne 100% recomendado tienen variedad de cortes y la verdad estaba muy bueno. El restaurante italiano no me encantó había cosas ricas pero otras definitivamente no. Tienen una cafetería que también está súper rico el café y esta las 24hrs.

Is there seaweed this March in Cancun grand fiesta Americana grand coral I am staying , does anybody know if that area is infested with seaweed any information would help

If its in the hotel zone you should be fine. it isn't til late April -sept or oct but in the southern part of the island.

actually its gotten worse. They have bulldozers that have to scrape it up every morning. experts think its because of that big tanker oil spill couple years ago it created a chemical reaction where the seeweed reproduces at very fast rates. they have to bury the seaweed in the beaches there so much of it.

The resorts of this company are great with good quality all inclusive which is rare. Too bad for the timeshare people is a shame how companies want you to buy your own loyalty to them, the concept is just crazy they should try to earn your loyalty with good service and a quality stay. I will go to Sandals next time they don't have timeshare or vacation club or any of these non sense products!
