As good as the first water birds of Fl was, the sequel is even better! All these birds are among the most common I see on a daily basis, but as always your unique shots show them in a completely different light than what I'm used to. I liked how you guys structured this video in pairs, as in 2 ibises, 2 night herons and 2 suliformes, really contrasts nicely!

Thank you so much Emilio! It couldn’t have worked out better for us in terms of video organization, the video practically made itself because each family of birds came in pairs. Living in Florida full time must afford some amazing glimpses into these birds’ lives, and I hope we get to go birding together one day! Gracias por mirar como siempre hermano. - Harrison and Evan

That had to be a ton of filming, nice captures with all the broll in this one. Great fact about the night heron dropping things in the water. Birds are lot smarter than we give them credit sometimes.

It was a lot of time spent in the field for sure, but we loved every second. Florida is such an amazing location, I hope you get down there sometime soon, once travel is a bit safer. The adaptations that the night herons have evolved are wicked cool, I wish we could have filmed it. Thanks for watching Rob! - Harrison and Evan

Wow, those Anhinga are amazing!! I have seen fishermen use the Cormorant to "fish" with. They are fitted with a metal ring that is easily removed. The ring prevents the bird from swallowing what it catches. Fishermen will remove the fish from its mouth, and send them out again. Once they have caught enough, the ring is removed, so the bird can feed. It was amazing in Japan. Thanks for this. Looking forward to the next one!

It is incredible that you have seen that in person! That is one of the most fascinating endeavors of human-animal interaction that occurs anywhere in the world. I would love to watch those farmers at work one day, cormorants are such special birds. We’re very glad you enjoyed! Thank you for watching as always! - Harrison and Evan

@@TheWildlifeBrothers I felt very privileged. I had actually snuck away from a Business Meeting and wandered into the harbor area and there they were. The fishermen let me get close, even though I was NOT dressed for that kind of outing. A rebel moment for sure.

Nice short but sweet episode! I’m always so impressed by your ability to identify bird species. I don’t know if I would have been able to distinguish the two night herons by sight. I think the anhinga actually inspired a boss enemy from the video game Pikmin- look up the snagret boss, you’ll see what I mean! Great stuff as always and- you’re already almost at 1.1k! 2000 is right around the corner!

Thank you so much Spencer! Birding, like all wildlife identification, just takes a bit of practice. That’s hilarious that there’s an anhinga-esque boss out there, I’ll have to look that up for sure. Thank you again, I hope the channel continues to grow on its current trajectory! - Harrison and Evan

I actually had the pleasure of seeing 2 Glossy Ibis in Jamaica Bay here in Nyc it was one of the coolest bird sightings I’ve had cause it took me by surprise! I’ve also seen Night Herons and lots of Cormorants in the waterways here. I would still say my favorite in the video was definitely the Anhinga I’ve always wanted to see one! I’ve also never actually seen footage of them swimming that way they really look like a snake which makes me love them even more

It’s amazing how wide the range of the Glossy Ibis is, you can see them much farther north than you’d expect. We see them fairly often in New Jersey where we explore on the coast. The Anhingas are really special birds, I’m glad we were able to give you a good look at their behavior. Thanks for watching! - Harrison and Evan

Very informative video! Normally I would just look at the ibis or the anhinga and thinks it’s just a cool bird. But this video really showed me, they are so much more than what I thought they were. I never knew anhingas were called snake birds or that they aren’t fully waterproof and have to dry off in the sun. Great video as always! Can’t wait for part 2 of this mini series!
