I have this same ThinkPad model that I use every single day for everything including drawing and school work. I literally run Windows XP at school and it works fine. My parents gave this to me in 2008 and I used to play Gmod, Minecraft and TF2 on it even though it ran terribly.

It was certainly copied a lot. I can understand why the industry settled more on the 360 style though in terms of how the parts wear over time.

what is the PART NUMBER for the cdrom drive?both of my dock stations did not come with one.

It is an UltraBay Slim form factor so any drive that is used for that should fit.

I wouldn't take it online, probably a huge security risk.

@@LaptopRetrospective even i got problem when i resurrected my old laptop with win7 os haha, the svk thing about Mscrosft is we need to update/go with the era for the Os,i prefer using Linux for future,maybe win just stay purely for entertaiment/gaming coz lot od games doesnt support linux 😂
