Yeah, how lucky You are, it will be harder if switching chip blown up.& there are lote of comparator/opamp chips as protection. Actually, I wanna see what is under aluminium cover (big & small one) Anw, enjoy the whole video Thank You !!

Wow, I found it so hard to believe that it was just a fuse that when you've discovered this a little bit over halfway through the video I was almost hoping for an unexpected plot twist. Having to replace only a bad fuse in a SMPS (and literally nothing else) is incredibly rare :P Oh BTW the electric fault is pronounced "short" (i.e. with an "o") not "shirt". Just so you know ;)

Was it due to series supply that relay clicking? and when u connected directly to main ie 220 volt ac it worked.please reply because I m facing such problem with my smps hp dps800gb

I have an Atsn atsn 7001133 y000 from hp which i am using to drive my car amps in the house...but now it turns on for like two mins the n powers down and cannot turn on for the next like 3dys....i probed the fets of the out put and some were shorted out...but i had not pulled them off the board...i'm afraid i will solder them not tight enough...can you help

Hi. I dont really know where to for this one. It came to me with connected pin out. But usually i was able to find pinout for server smps at Google.

My power supply dps800gb ac input plug melted .I replaced it with other one .when I plugged it in series with 200 watt incandescent bulb the relay inside and series bulb starts clicking as in ur case .what is the fault ?
