I think allowing him to make a call, would want him to open up to a family member and tell them more about where Aniah is and what he has done to her, black man don’t usually feel comfortable talking to police officers or judges, so allowing a family member to make him feel at ease would help them out a lot tbh. I’ve studied certain things in freshman year of college, these people are smart.. the lawyers and judges they honestly know deep down that the phone call to a family member/girlfriend will help, those calls are recorded so everything he says they’ll know.

Emotionally, I wanna react and be angry at this person, but I know the right thing to do is to wait for the facts to come out. Unfortunately, the evidence looks circumstantial so far.
