Ibrahim manages to get out of the trap set for him and goes back to the palace without losing time. Hurrem gets defeated as she sees him right before her. As Ibrahim tells Suleiman everything happened, Hurrem is also present there. This incident causes them fall out with each other even more.
When Hatice learns what happened to Ibrahim, she gets frustrated. She looks for a new alliance by worrying about Ibrahim's life. Meanwhile, Ibrahim wants revenge. He attacks on Hurrem's softest spot.
Ibrahim takes Prince Mehmet away from the palace. As Hurrem learns that her son is out with her nemesis, she gets terrified. She starts looking for her prince everywhere. However, only thing she gets is Prince Mehmet's bloody kaftan.
The spy hunt in Manisa continues. Mahidevran gets suspicious about Yahya of Taslica and starts cornering him. As he accused of betrayal, he gets obligated to confess the love between him and Mihrimah. On the other hand, Mustafa comes face to face with the spy who's trying to kill him.
How will Ibrahim get out of the trap? Will he tell everything happened to him to Suleiman? Who is the spy in Manisa Palace? What will they do to Mustafa?
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

God, the way Hürrem waits until Mihrimah is out of the room to breakdown in earnest 🥲Not to mention how, even with her daughter, who eventually becomes closer the inner politics of her mother's life than any of her siblings, Hürrem makes sure not to tell the entire truth, which would affect her relationship with Ibrahim and Hatice. It really is a stark contrast to Mahidevran's tendency to vent at Mustafa (although I do think there's reasons behind that).

Mahidevran using Mustafa as her emotional support child is why I can't side with her. If I'll sympathy for her, but I refuse to ignore the part she played in her on son's death. She intentionally set Mustafa against Suleyman when he was a child without thinking of the consequences would be when he was older. She's was always in the background looking happy when he stud up for her, because she had him defending her so young he never learned when to stand back and keep his mouth shut, he also assumed he was somehow equal to Suleyman.

@@CrimsonAngelWinges"Emotional support child" hits the nail on the head with what I was thinking, yes! It appears a _bit_ between Hürrem and Mihrimah, but never to the same extent or intensity.

@@Redluna32 The biggest difference between Mustafa and Mihrümah is Hurrem didn't start to lean on Mihrümah until she was an adult and like you said she didn't do it to the extent that Mihrümah felt like she was totally responsible for her mother's happiness.

There are times when I really admire Hurrem's sense of self-restraint. Ibrahim got off way too easy for the whole stunt he pulled with Mehmet. At least a slap in the face was in order...

"I will never take the life of an innocent person." I would've laughed directly into Ibrahim's face at this attempt on his part to gaslight his way through moralizing when his last efforts to "teach her a lesson" were literally arranging the murder of Leo-a man he knew to be innocent, but was used solely to suit his purposes. (I know Hatice can't know the truth of the situation either, but the way she outright grins with glee at Ibrahim saying he taught Hürrem a lesson feels decidedly uncomfortable.)

I can’t stand Ibrahim the power got to his head because imagine trying this with the Sultans Heir lol we all know the Sultan wanted Mehmet to take the the throne after him! What kind of love is this for his Sultan his brother, I know how Hurrem is but I feel like Ibrahim dug his own grave, all that defending Mahidevran for years on end, meeting Mustafa without the Sultans knowledge, having a child with Nigar, calling himself Sultan, having a throne in his own property it’s no wonder he ended up with a rope around his neck lol it’s crazy that Hatice blames Hurrem for the pashas death look how much things he has done to ruin his own friendship relationship with the Sultan!
