People say this must be rehearsed and can't be impromptu because their blending is too good.. but you will notice at 2:31 Ailee seems to be giving her a go signal to go on with the melody. Also, it's Ailee who adjusts her tone to blend with the contestant and the queen is definitely capable of that with or without preparation.

Lol this why ailee is a vocal queen. Maybe look into her earlier and most resent live performances,Ailee out of all the kpop singers and idol know when to harmonise. This is reason why alot of stars have asked her why she did not become a vocal coach.

I can relate to you, back then I also so obsessed with this performance lol, so I come back to this video from time to time. Even I have her studio version of this song on spotify. It's a pitty that no label give her conttract till now I think as she wanted to be a singer I reckon. I wonder why because her voice tone is good n unique (I like it) and her vocal ability is quite great, plus she has face and body that comparable to even girl group, it's like a complete package.

2:45 Ailee's resonance sooo~🎵 And her head voice run at 2:57 😍 Goodness Lord, this is why she's the best female idol vocalist in Korea right now. She's also such a good harmonizer which is very rare. She let the other girl sing the main melody line while she sang the harmony line and the background vocals. Of course, she had adlibs here and there, too.

Ailee's harmonisation is the best I ever heard among the female singers! If u watch or listen to the song where she collaborates u will find out that she can simply do the harmonisations with anyone she sings with! Like her voice is a perfect match with any other voices!

I really dislike that the other females who are something like judges or whatever always doubt the female participants especially when they are pretty. This is honestly my favorite ICSYV duet stage, I'm so glad that she was a skilled vocalist! She shut down all the hate comments (from that snarky girl judge) and you know everyone at that show in the end was doubting her. YEAH YOU GO GIRL!!!! She gots the looks and vocals and the bod, such an angel

That woman got on my nerves with everything she said about this contestant. Showing her jealousy for the young woman and showing she shouldn't be a part of the panel. She acts jealous of every pretty girl as if they can't possibly sing because they're pretty. Just made herself look so stupid because of what she said about her.

Jalalul Fuad AGAIN... THIS IS NOT A COMEDY SHOW. It is to find rare talent in a non conventional way. These jealous idiots don't have to always knock a beautiful girl... who by the way is looking for a real chance to make it. So don't give me that funny crap. The women are not funny, they just look stupid for putting down a woman just because she's beautiful.

This was the first video I had seen with Ailee. This is the video that made me fall in love with her singing. Ailees harmonies and adlibs were on point. The clarity of tone and key perfection. Especially for a performance unrehearsed made me realize that Ailee is a “Natural artist”. Which only breaks my heart that she is not better know throughout the western world.

The girl can sing but maybe she wasnt really familiar with the song(unprepared?) or she just nervous. But hey man, do we need to talk about Ailee ? She controlled the stage, harmonize thing and still manage to pull out explosive adlibs. So underated of her to just stuck in Kpop niche, world should realize her existence. Would have been the best duet of the show so far if the girl was more prepared, or is it still the best regardless?
