Hey everyone! I've done some blunder mistakes while talking about ARS Exam and here's the rectification: 1. After you qualify ARS (Prelims+Mains+Viva), then you ARE a scientist. I mentioned that you'll be 'eligible' but that's not true, you'll be appointed as a Scientist. 2. I didn't mention that you can apply to both NET and ARS at the same time. During registration, you'll get the option whether you want to apply for both exams or not. If there's any update, I'll edit in this comment. Apologies once again. 🙏🏻

I think yes, you can. However, please check the eligibility criteria of a college where you want to apply.

For ICAR NET, there will be verification when you appear for the interview but for ARS, after qualifying pre and mains, there will be document verification. You can read the brochure for details. Link is in the description.

Sir, I have M.Sc degree in Physics and my special paper in fourth semester is electronics and communication. I have filled the ICAR NET(electronics and instrumentation) without noticing the elligiblity(not including msc in physics). I want to ask you that will they reject my form... Am I not eligible? Pls reply.

Yes, they might reject the form. Or you may not receive admit card. But I'm not sure how it will work out eventually.

Sir, should I go UK to do M.Sc Food Safety and Quality Assurance which includes one year of industrial internship or should I stay back in India and give ICAR exam. I wish to start my business later. I have done B. Sc Microbial and Food Technology. Please reply.

You don't have to go for ICAR or UK if you wish to start a business.

@@AreebIrshadSimplifies India and if things go right I wish to expand it. Actually M. Sc in India will take 3 years from NDRI as I have done B. Sc while from UK it's one year of theory and one year of Industrial Internship in Food Safety and Quality Assurance. I want to work in Industry initially. Does that International study tag matter while applying for job here in India?
