I used to eat that kind of ice cream when I was a kid, tastes like sh*t tbh. The idea is pretty good but I can't eat store brought ice cream. But it seems good for birthday parties as it is cheap, simple and easy to prepare plus everyone likes ice cream. 7/10

Only it's just ice-cream.. It would make more sense to fill the cone with cakepop because the ice-cream will literally just melt right into the cone... If you filled the cone with cakepop it would be be a better version of an ice cream cake

@@Ember1220cross contamination is usually used for harmful bacteria (like not washing a cutting board after chopping raw chicken on it), cross contact is for allergens (like preparing a gluten product in the same area as non-gluten products)

as an adult i love the entire concept, the thought that goes into it despite being super simple and easy to make for any occasion that calls for it, you could even have a little tray full of toppings so when it comes time to put the ice cream into the cones everyone can put whatever they’d like on ‘em (i.e nuts, cherry on top, etc)!!

Definitely a keeper-- Yay!! Also could pipe softened ice cream into the cone afer it's been decorated, leaving about a 1/2" for the inverted cupcake, then freeze solid before putting them together.

This is a genius idea for not only parties, but also if you have multiple children it makes giving them an ice cream quicker and more fancier. If I get fresh ice cream its easier to scoop, but once its been in the freezer for a couple of days its much more frozen and more difficult to scoop unless you wait a couple of minutes for it to soften a little before serving, but this is time consuming and can be messy, but the cupcake idea is genius!!!! With ready made portions of ice cream!!! Cool cool idea.

Aww...nostalgia! Back in the day when I worked at an ice cream shop, we would do something very similar. We would make a face on a ball of ice cream and put the cone on as a hat, the cupcake wrapper would become the neck ruffle and voila... a clown! Kids loved them. Thank you for the walk down memory lane! 😊

Omg I never ever thought of piping ice cream. I fill silicone cupcake liners with icecream for our hot fudge cakes in our concession stand. Makes it so much easier to make the next day.

My mum made me whatever design I chose for every birthday growing up in the 80's\90's, and she got so good at it family & friends started requested them too. It's like your tear apart cupcake cakes but with ice cream! I like it! The best of both worlds and imho kids would like that more on a hot summer's day than they would cake. Well done Katie and Tigga, another slay....I mean YAY!

For the little kids and the ice cream melting down into the cone chuck a marshmallow in the bottom that helped soak up the ice cream so the bottom doesn’t fall out if you cone 😃

No, she doesn't!!!! Thawing and refreezing ice cream is a health hazard and can lead to food poisoning due to bacterial contamination! The fact that you claim to work at an ice cream shop and call that innovative I stead of unhygienic shows what kind of dirt shop you work at. You can literally get closed by authorities for that and the fact you don't seem to know that alone makes me sick to my stomach... I hope no one eats your disgusting ice cream bc it can't be good if you aren't even adhering to the simplest hygienic rules. You disgust me.

LOVE this idea. Not too much more work than it is to stand there seeing ice cream to the kids, and it’s a really easy way to have portioned cones really fast. Plus it’s way easier than making an actual ice cream cake at home, but still looks presentable as “cupcakes”!! I love it!
