In this video we will see how to make ice cream at home in Tamil. This homemade vanilla ice cream is made without using heavy whipping cream / half and half and without ice cream maker (machine). This is a simple ice cream recipe in which we are only going to use 3 basic ingredients, milk, sugar and eggs. This version of ice cream is made using the custard generated from eggs. Since we are making the ice cream directly from scratch it takes about 40 minutes for milk to reach half the quantity. Also add milk little by little to prevent the eggs from scrambling.
Friends we can make ice cream without any artificial flavors and preservatives using this simple method. This basic ice cream doesn't require heavy whipping cream or condensed milk or ice cream maker. Everyone can make this ice cream at home and surprise your friends and family. I tried it🍨, really came out well..😋 Thanks for the recipe...🙏 Some tips for those who are going to try this recipe: * If u don't have airtight container, u can use any steel tiffen box and cover it with foil☺️ * It is not necessary to use vanilla extract u can also use chocolate extract. * U can grind in between 2 hours ( if u don't have patience like me..😜)

Sis I tried it. The taste was awesome. But the ice cream did not become creamy at all. It becomes slightly thick but it is in watery consistency. What to do sis. Plss replyyyy....

Word of advice: cook the egg yolk and milk mixture for a long time (more than 7 minutes) and it should be thick. I made this and it came out great but it was really grainy due of the water in the ice cream because I didn't keep the yolk and milk mixture on the stove for enough time for all the water to evaporate. Hi, I loved the idea that you could churn the ice cream using a blender. You have mentioned that it has to be done 4 times but I just want to know for how long you need to grind it in the blender.

Hi Steffi, recent follower of yours and greatly inspired by you. Love you. I had a problem while trying this recipe. When I mixed everything and turned on the heat to thicken and boil the mixture, milk gets curdled by the time it boils with bubbles. So I first try got wasted and second try also same happened but I switched off the heat once it started to curdle. And went on with the remaining process and taste is excellent... 1. Why does it curdle and how to avoid it? 2. I went on freezing the same content that started to curdle. Is that ok?
