I've been working as the only black dude in my office and they play a lot of different genres of music. Growing up my brothers only listened to rap/r&b and sometimes reggae. Rap, which is mostly black cultural music, is one of the most negative genres there is. We encourage young black men and women to do the bad things we talking bout in our music unlike any other genre does. Sounds like we selling out our own people now that im looking at it from an outward perspective smh

I wouldn't. Sounds like he has a 4th grade knowledge of basic governance, uses pseudo-militant at-a-tude to spread ignorance, & "rumor" so won't fault him on it has/had the guy in recent legal woes, crazy Steve Bannon as a biz partner in his Big 3 BB biz. Few months back, he spread & didn't catch the Russian propaganda aimed at black folk regarding Egyptians Pyramids & how the noses were removed. It was false, but given his platform size he proved once again he's not savvy by no means with history/politics. Always liked Cube as an entertainer, disappointed at his ignorance, and I do see he may be trying to learn beyond his current knowledge base. However, wished he'd stay quieter until he learns a few more things that are factual. He promotes the black agenda website ranting what we want with only common generalities, and no specificities. And often used website address to answer Tip's questions. Why IMO - he didn't know, covering it up with a pseudo promo move to cover-up his ignorance to Tip's questions & responses but at least it will increase the website traffic. Reality to me is he just didn't know. What I did enjoy learning is that, T.I. much more informed & savvy regarding history & politics than I thought & way more than Cube just based on his feedback to Cube's answers & further line of questioning. He showed grace not to further expose & embarrass what little information Cube possesses & may have been shocked by learning it himself, well prepared for guest & topic, but lied when he introduced Cube an activist! LOL Talk about stretching the truth & disrespectful to real Activists. Cube's done nothing to sacrifice his life/livelihood for a cause to enrich (don't mean $$ wise per se') a profession/societal norm other than his own personal interests. Kap's an activist - lost all he'd worked for from a kid. O'hea done the same? - Nope Best take away - I see he's trying albeit poorly, please let him go mute til he knows more, his stern voice is an habit not a conviction, & needs to research before spreading falsehoods on social media by folk who hate us. No, would never vote for him for anything at this level of knowledge he's shown thus far. Trump should be a clue to anybody not to ever vote an uninformed celeb into highest office in the land. LOL And I didn't and wont this time either.

@beverlybmwwilkerson59234 жыл бұрын
......I've been pushing both Contracts for Black America' (CWBA) and usorelse.org I believe WE/Blacks are entitled and owed compensation. WE are entitled to be treated with dignity and respect. WE need local mental health facitities and money in our communities so we can begin to feel as if WE truly matter. That's a big reason why our people are jacked up! WE need to be pulled out of 400 years of poverty. Everyone that's rich either inherited, invested, earned thru hard work, or stole. And, no one can achieve a rich or wealthy status without mentioning the BACK'S of blacks. WE ain't got shit to hand down as an inheritence...ohk, ohk a house or a piece of a pension, but the rich and wealthy are sittin' on umpteen millions, billions and even trillions of dollars...they can't make that money without us or without ANY of the working class families. WE are just about theeee only ethnic group in America who are still mentally, emotionally, and financially strapped and killed as if OUR lives have noooo value. So, I'm conflicted as to why? Why do WE still have to prove our self-worth and be questioned and victimized as if WE all are criminals. Since 1619, when the first slave ship arrived in Jamestown, VA - NO lil' changes towards BLACKS. To bring my testament current, or as far back as I can remember there have neeeever been any MAJOR financial legislation passed to help the BLACKS become "even close" to being equally competitive in the market place. NONE! Yet, the Republicans and Democrats know this and they STILL do not do anything on a grand scale to pass legislation to improve our value. WE work, but the earning wage is not enough to maintain or sustain a healthy lifestyle for our families and children. WE want better, but many of us are mentally stripped.....stuck in a spin cycle just stuck with bare minimal relief. So, I appreciate Ice Cube and TI looking out for us, and I read both their contracts. I even listened to their plights, and they made a point about Blacks "still" not being treated equal financially nor economically. And, the government pitts Whites against Blacks to keep us divided. We have more in common than we give ourselves credit for.
@jayrealslotting75884 жыл бұрын

You are alright, you have your voice, your view. It is true, all other cultures picture blacks destroying blacks. And Yep, they both have money. That is why it is clear that they care. I do not know either one personally, but I write, and work in my community , and so we know it is a choice for them to speak out. Ice Cube is only asking for Grants for peoples to be able to help themselves. If T. I. amd Ice Cube and the rest of the Lyricists and Artists make a Grant Program themselves, personally I would apply to help single families that want to go to school and help themselves. Help the black men and women that are single and paying child support that cannot fix their cars or just need bus fair or gas money to get to work. Money to renew tags on the car. The working poor.
