The awesome thing about underwater footage like this is that you can really learn a lot about what a fish wants by how they behave and react to your bait!

The question you posed, "does this get boring?", the answer is "NO!!!!!!!" I could watch underwater walleye footage for 8 straight hours. There is so much to learn and every minute watching helps IMO.

Have really enjoyed Clayton’s videos, knowing that I’m unable to go fishing because I’m recovering from surgery, it’s the next best thing. Having fun is contagious. Thanks

I am 71 years old and this is the very best underwater fishing video I have ever seen. Do you think a little scent paste on your lure would entice them to bite when they are up close checking the lure out and get a good whiff? Please keep making this type video. Awesome video. Learned a ton of stuff on how walleye react to different presentations from watching your last few videos with underwater footage. Gives me more confidence that I can put some good eyes on the ice this year here in Montana. Will definitely have to use my camera more often.

Walleye also see up very well. Often start jigging vigorously at 5-6 ft off the bottom for 15 seconds or so, the start lowering with a slower jig presentation. Sometimes a double small jig up and drop is good. Keep your line tight using the rattle swimmers on the way down. Lots of times it will hit on the fall. Great video Clayton!

Hi, I loved the video and I am a freak old lady (72)that acts like you when I get a fish not because I want to be noticed but because of the excitement of the catch, I noticed all the equipment that you have, at 72 living in Estevan Sask on a budget can you please tell me what you think I can afford having the excitement you get when that fish bites, just seeing those fish is unbelievable. Even though I am 72 doesn`t mean I don`t act like a child when that fish strikes. I have videos as NomadSeniors on you tube and you can see the excitement when I catch a fish on shore its just crazy fun...Great Job sir...I hope I get some feed back from you or anyone else that can help me...

Definitely not boring

When they "bump" or "taste" it they are expecting a live bait to bolt. Try a fast small jig upward and then jigging as you slowly reel up. They will interpret it as the baitfish trying to escape, will follow it up, and then smash it. Sometimes they follow all the way to the hole before striking

Great stuff love watching fish. Learning how to get them to react. smelling the lure to see if it's real

When they charge and stop its usually because they expect it to run away and when it has no fear its a red flag. some walleyes will chase a lure up to the hole. great vid!

I am from California, I have never been ice fishing, but I love your videos. We only get enough ice to ice fish on the high sierra lakes here, and I don't usually go up that way in the winter time.
