You can mechanically lock the compressor when you lay down the machine

in many cases you're correct , but what they laid down was the ice bin. They did this to put the feet on the bottom of the bin. The compressor is in the top half of the unit along with the condenser (if its not a remote unit) and evaporator. so no harm no foul :) ice machines like the cuber in this video , are typically two separte parts : the bin , and the ice machine it self.

Thank you so much for the video!! It saved this girl a lot of money!! When you showed the portion of removing the shipping metal bracket and disc. Does that big white plastic part come off as well?

Yes, the plastic film comes off. Its there to protect the stainless steel! Thanks for watching!

can i directly connect the machine to the ro purifier? it produces 100 liters of water per hour

The ice maker needs a pre filter and water filter dedicated to the amount of gallons per hour the unit uses. Some customers like using an RO system in conjunction as long as the RO is maintained! However, be careful with water softeners as these will affect the production of the machine.

nice video sir, my drain is far away and not floor drain, and may required a pump drain, can it be coded if air gap is from ice machine drain to the pan and have a pump line drain from the pan to the drain pipe? Thanks in advance!

Condensate pumps can be used in certain applications when the drain is not in proximity to the ice maker. However, your inspector will have ultimate say if this is allowed. Although this is commonly done, it is always best to verify with your local inspector!

No need to make a hole. The ice bin on this model already has the drain built in!

What is the capacity of the ice machine?

500 LBS on spec but in most applications it's lower... closer to around 375-400 lbs. We suggest customers go up a size up if they truly need 500 lbs of ice.
