You need to see the full version it’s amazing and how it connects to other tracks on the album. Plus the video would make more sense with the full version. Still a great song and a great reaction. For anyone watching who doesn’t know, Ice Nine Kills (or INK)’s last album, The Silver Scream was a concept album in which every song, merch item, etc. was based off of horror movies. The music videos combined make a story/movie, and their live performances feature costume changes, each band member dressed up, and their makeup person, Shevvy playing female characters that they need. Their album before this Every Trick In the Book was based on works of literature, and their albums before that were all non-concept albums. They’ve been around since 2002 and started off as a ska/punk band and have slowly grown into these metalcore titans. They’ve had an extensive history of band members, most notably losing Justin Morrow (bass) to Motionless In White, and Justin DeBlieck, whose on hiatus (left? No ones really sure). They currently have Ricky Armellino (from This or the Apocalypse and HAWK) on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Patrick Galante (from Affiance and American Nosebleed) on drums, Joe Occhiuti (from The Venetia Fair) on bass and backing vocals, Dan Sugarman (from As Blood Runs Black) on lead guitar, and Spencer Charnas (whose been in the band since 2002) who is the lead vocalist. And the shirt spencer was wearing was from his clothing brand Kleaver Klothing, which is full of horror/occult/dark-humorous themes.

Each song of their album The Silver Scream, a play on words for the silver screen in reference to a movie theater screen, was entirely based on one of their favorite horror films. This song was based on Nightmare on Elm Street. Their album before this used a similar concept except that is was centered on their favorite horror literature. Seriously this band is one of the best out there right now. Keeping it completely unique and just straight up killing it!

It adds a whole new layer to their artistic ability being able to relate that message through their songs. The American Nightmare being a reference to Freddy Kruger and how he haunts your nightmares, as you can tell from the video. They're easily one of my favorite bands just off that fact alone

INK has a bunch of awesome songs that I’d recommend like: The People Under the Stairs(Safe is Just a Shadow), The Fastest Way to a Girls Heart is Through Her Ribcage and Power in Belief(The Predator Becomes the Prey), Bloodbath & Beyond and Me Myself and Hyde(Every Trick in the Book), Rocking the Boat and Merry Axe-Mas and Your Numbers Up(Silver Scream). Their covers of songs are awesome too, like Thriller. They also did a parody of Stacys Mom called Jason’s Mom that is amazing. Highly recommend the band; they also put on an amazing show! Best band I’ve seen live!

INK is one of my favorite bands and Silver Scream is the most underrated album. It's all based off of horror movies.
