a perfect example of showing how there isn't just one 'way' to do art. I would never have thought of breaking everything into literal separate abstract shapes for placement and spacing at the start to push and pull around.

I definitely echo recommendation of starting a twitch stream. Most of the art streamers on twitch do anime characters and too few do landscape. I think you would hit a quick niche audience, and your youtube channel would market it well. P.S. Excellent choice of music. It is 75% of the reason I like watching your videos so much. Having this up while I work and looking up every now and then to see progress is super relaxing.

Thank you man, that's really nice of you to say and it's really cool to hear how you watch my stuff. I will definitely think about Twitch, I've been debating it for a while but it's just a case of having the time to do it really. When I do I'll make sure to post about it!

Watching someone work like this reminds me how much I still have to learn. Its daunting, but also exhilarating. I am not surrounded by many other artists, especially not right now. To most of my friends my stuff is amazing, while I know I'm intermediate at best. For a while I was feeling stuck and worrying that maybe I reached my limit, that maybe I progressed as far as I can, and it didn't feel like an accomplishment at all. This was coupled with some other less than ideal experiences we've all shared over the past year. Im excited again, seeing this- not so much the finished product, but the process. How the artist plays with each stroke, color, shape. Taking their time. It reminds me I still have far to go. Thanks to whoever drew this and put some introspective music over it. I hope you have a good day- and year for that matter!

I can never comprehend how you create your environments, even though I watch them numerous times and even slow them down I just cannot fathom how. I’ve tried doing environments in a similar fashion but it just doesn’t turn out looking good. It’s so abstract I can’t begin to imagine how and why you make the shapes that you make and smudge them around and warp and place them as texture and suddenly “hey that’s a rock!” It blows my mind each time and both inspires and frustrates me that it can look so simple but be so complex at the same time. I would love to see tutorial videos from you where you take the time to explain how and why you make these decisions and how exactly you find the shapes and texture you want from such an abstract shape that gets smudged and warped but somehow turns into exactly what you need.
